I had a truly amazing experience at the farm! The whole team is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and truly cared about our needs and making sure we had a positive experience. The views and meals were incredible as well. The schedule is really flexible, we learned a lot, and had plenty of time to ourselves. We also took day trips and at the end of our stay Fanny and Alex showed us around other areas of Costa Rica. I would highly recommend this experience! Thank you Fanny, Alex, Jose, Kim, and Alberto!!

This Worlpacking experience was AMAZING. We stayed for a bit less than two weeks and it wasn't enough. Lots of things to discover with an incredible team. It was the best first worldpacking experience I could have had. I felt safe, welcome, part of the team. Our Spanish as well as our permaculture skills improved significantly. Fanny, Jose, Kem, Alberto, Alex, thank you so much for that experience that I will never forget. Que chiva :)

I had a beautiful time here. Thank you so much the farm! Fanny and her partner usually work in San Jose, José led us on the weekdays. José was a great teacher, and patient with our mistakes. For my first time volunteering out of the country on a farm, I couldn't have asked for a better place to start. The farm itself is rustic and serene, a beautiful place with mountain views. I brought a lot to do on my own, and with solar power from 7 to 2 I think, it was like a built in digital detox. I enjoyed reading my digital books, journaling, knitting, and playing games!

My experience at the farm was great! Super relaxing location to get in touch with the Costa Rican culture. The jungle nature around the finca was also incredible! I saw parrots, toucans, monkeys, and many other species. Unfortunately there were no other volunteers during my time at the finca, but regardless of this I still had a good time with the crew. This provided a good opportunity to practice Spanish too. Yuly (the host) provided great Spanish lessons (which turned into a history lesson but still very interesting nonetheless)!

The farm won my heart! If you are looking for a quite location with strong roots in organic agriculture, outdoor activities and a chill, welcoming vibe— look no further. During my stay there I was involved in the essential organic/permaculture farming experience from seeding, soiling, planting, harvesting and packaging. The work hours are short (7am-12pm) and they really put an effort in teaching you the philosophy, skills, and processes in farming the Costa Rican style. And above all, the magic of the farm is really in the people.

I really liked my experience at the farm. I learned a lot about different things that I would have never in my city. I recommend it if you are looking specifically for a experience like this. You feel like another member of the family

I had a great time volunteering at the farm. I worked on the website, which was a good way to learn more about the inspiring vision for the farm. It was nice to start each day working on the terrace looking out towards the rainforest and mountains. As a vegetarian, I was looked after well, with three big cooked meals every day. In addition to the work, we had a fun time hanging out with the other volunteers and staff, playing games like Uno and taking walks in the area.

I would recommend this project for anyone visiting Costa Rica and wanting to learn more about sustainable farming and using produce from the land in meals. The host made us feel really welcome and quickly responded to our issues with our room. Loved the mix of people we were able to meet because of the ability to accommodate bigger teams of volunteers.

I had three nice weeks at the farm. I immediately felt at home when I arrived. Everyone is súper friendly and welcome you with such nice vibes. The team organise a lot of activities to make you discover the area and the culture, which is amazing ! They always will be there to help you with anything you need/would like to do. I learned a lot about plants, typical food, improve my Spanish and was very happy to have the opportunity of painting a mural and learn how to cook tamales ! Just make sure to come with sunscreen, earplugs and repellent. Gracias a todos !!!

The food was great at the beginning, then after 2 weeks it became lean. The people there were friendly and inviting. Unfortunately, I lent the host money at the supermarket and the gas station and was never reimbursed. It's a very pretty place except for the dog pens. Remember that work is from 7-12 but charging is from 8-2 so if you're not near the house to plug in then you'll lose an hour of charging time. The host is flexible with the work schedule though. It wasn't a good fit for me
