My time in the host was more than amazing. I feeled really wellcommed and loved. You have to work from 6pm to 12pm. I really enjoyed to worked with all the people there together, everyone is really nice and even when it is stressful you will support each other. Nium is an lovely host, she takes care of you and that you get everything you need. On the day you can do whatever you want and you have enough time until you start work in the evening.

I had an amazing time and experience while living and working with Nhung ans her family, from the pets to the owners everyone here will treat you like one of their own. I think that for those of you who have the energy and willingness to work under pressure in a the host environment, you can handle it as a intensive internship that will give you real life experience that will be invaluable for your future as a volunteer and as a traveler. If you come to the host as a volunteer you should have that in mind. I will always cherish the memories of volunteering here for 2 straight months.🤗

Had such an amazing time at the host! Nium, the owner, is so sweet and works really hard to make the host welcoming for customers and the volunteers. the host is super busy, so the time moves fast. I was working 6-11 pm, though because it was so busy I would often work later (this was voluntary). Nium was teaching me how to bartend, which was great experience! Because I'm vegetarian, the food was a bit repetitive. It was normally rice, a veggie, and sometimes tofu. If you eat meat though, there are more options.

My experience at the host was absolutely amazing! Nium's family is simply wonderful — everyone is kind, welcoming, and flexible. The work can be a bit demanding at times, but it's always fun and full of good energy. You also get plenty of free time to explore Tam Coc during the day and discover beautiful places just a short ride away from the host. It was truly hard to say goodbye. Thank you so much for everything, guys — you're the best! 🤍

The initial awkwardness quickly faded into an amazing cultural immersion. Host Nhung is flexible and treats volunteers like family, even cooking food from home! The 5-6 hour, 6-day work week is perfect. Local staff take a couple of weeks to bond with, but we eventually cooked a meal together for the family. Meals are authentic Vietnamese, shared with everyone. Highly recommended for deep immersion and real the host work experience.

My time there was good, I met so many people. The job itself is easy if you have some experience as a waiter/waitress. Sometimes there are rush hours (not every day) and you need to be focus. Communication is very important. I enjoyed the meals. Tam Coc is a pretty area with a lot of nature.

I stayed at the host for two weeks, and while I was there Nhung made it feel like home. You truly feel like a part of the family, and get to experience a lot of true Vietnam. The work is easy to learn, and a fair trade for the benefits. It was a great place to stay and work while I explored Tam Coc and Ninh Binh! If you're looking for a place to volunteer, I highly recommend the host!

Thanks a lot to Darya and Mrs Nhung! We had a very funny time at the host. The work has been more busy on our first week compared to the second one but still nice We worked at Night Shift : taking orders, doing cocktails and serving guests is part of the job. You also run karaoke there, be ready to sing every night ! At the beginning I didn't feel that comfortable about it, but at the end I really enjoyed it 🤪 The rooms are very nice and food also. We recommend this experience to anyone who wants to meet international travellers, likes party and fun!
