My experience at Cofradía the school was amazing! The school has a great atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and full of energy from the kids. I really enjoyed being part of the team and contributing to their learning. Mr. Ariel, the director, is a kind and who genuinely cares about both the students and the volunteers If you're looking for a meaningful experience where you can teach, learn, and feel part of a community, this is definitely the right place.

I really enjoyed volunteering at CBC. I mostly taught kindergarten, 6th grade, and covered a few other classes. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy teaching, this is a great choice. Mr. Ariel and Ms. Dilcia always made sure we felt comfortable, and the teachers were welcoming. The school is still organizing some things, so schedules can get a bit messy, but with a few games or activities prepared ahead, you'll do fine, I recommend to ask about the schedule. Overall, the staff made us feel at home, and Honduras welcomed us warmly, thank you so much for everything.

I spend a month at CBC, I had a blast with third and fifth graders, Mr Ariel is a great host and an amazing person, he always took care of our needs. If you have previous experience working with kids this is the place for you, otherwise it can get a bit challenging. I recommend you to prepare a schedule in advanced during the time you'll be volunteering. The meals offered are delicious.

I could not possibly say enough good things about this school and the volunteering experience! Ariel is amazing to work with and its so obvious how much everyone running the school loves the children. The children are so fun to teach and interact with and they are so welcoming to the volunteers! The apartment you live in is fantastic and the free meals you get at the school are so so delicious! I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to volunteer! I have taught places all over the world through volunteering & Worldpackers and this one is so special! Sending lots of love!!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the school. Above all, it was definitely a learning experience for me. Mr. Ariel is absolutely lovely and really caring for the volunteers and students. Working with kids is always an up and down so you really have to commit to it but the love and joy you get in return is the biggest reward. The school lacks organisation sometimes and how things are supposed to be done are not always particularly clear. However, this gives you a lot of freedom with classes, which I personally preferred. Absolutely recommend!!

The staff is the sweetest, and the kids are amazing. I originally said I'd stay for 1 month, but at minimum it's looking like I'm going to be staying here for at least 3. I'm so glad I came here. The staff members are so friendly and helpful, and Ariel is QUICK to resolve any problem that might arise. I could go on and on about how amazing teaching here has been!

I had a great time teaching at CBC. As an ESL teacher I was able to learn a lot and see what it's like to teach in different countries. I taught the kindergartners for half of my time and I was able to improve my Spanish so much. The house provided is nice and we were given enough money to buy groceries each week. We worked a bit more than 8 hours a day which is to be expected at a school but it's not the 5 hours that was originally stated. I recommend this Workaway for anyone who wants to see what local life is like, get experience teaching, and help out kids.

I had a great time at Cofradía the school. The kids at the school are amazing; they're the ones who make this experience so special and memorable. Ariel is a wonderful host who always makes sure you feel welcome and safe, both at the school and at home. However, I think it's really important to speak Spanish, as communication can be challenging in English with the kids, other teachers, and around town. Feel free to message me for more information :)
