This was absolutely amazing! The place is great and the work is fair. The hosts, Toshi and Foo, are very nice. I spent my days surfing and spending time with other volunteers, practicing my Japanese and traveling around Kyushu. I absolutely loved it ♥️😍

My stay in Aoshima was awesome, the work was fair and I spent the rest of most my days using the bikes and surfboards available, and spending quality time with the people I stayed with. I really hope to come back one day! Thank you 😊😊

Words aren't enough to express my stay there. I had no idea what to expect, but it was perfect. I learned how to surf💪🏼. The scenery whilst surfing is probably the best part. I will say that if you don't surf, you might find your time there a bit long as there is not much around. The other volunteers, toshi and foo, are all amazing people. The work isn't hard and you'll have the whole afternoon off. It's also a good place to practice speaking Japanese. I would definitely recomend this job ✌🏼 definitely will come back!

The guest house was my first Worldpackers experience. And what a great experience. I really appreciate the kindness of the host, Toshi. He is also an easy-going and comprehensive person. I also enjoyed the place and the other "staff". I hope I'll be able to renew the experience... Thank you for everything.

Had to take a couple of days before writing this because I was still missing so much the place, people and everything. The tasks are easy, sometimes they don't take more than two hours, so if you are into surfing, you have a lot of time to do it (or try at least, like me) or plan a trip to somewhere else. Thank you very much Toshi and the staff for every moment, word and joy shared. So far, the best summer memories.

My stay at the guest house in Miyazaki was absolutely amazing. Toshi was very kind and easygoing. He demonstrated us how to manage hotel rooms, guest check-ins, cleanings in the most organized manners. I learned and observed Japanese cultures by following him. The place is very close to Aoshima beach and i really get to spent time by the ocean and with nature. It's overall a very positive experience meeting other international travelers and volunteers. We also have a lot of free time to go surfing, exploring the region too. I would totally recommend this experience to other people:)

Our experience at the guest house in Aoshima has been beautiful. I love the people here, the small town vibe & I am so grateful for this time we have had! I loved surfing every day & we always had time to go out & enjoy the ocean (less than a 5 minute walk to the beach :) ) Toshi & Phu are so lovely and I am so thankful for how generous & welcoming they are. I will miss this home away from home and would love to come back some day!

It was my first Worldpakkers trip and I loved it! Toshi is very nice and friendly. The work is arround 2 hours and the rest of the day is up to you. I went surfing a lot so it was perfect that we could use the surfboards for free. I hope to come back soon!
