Intermediate English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Sri Lanka

Program Details

Stay with us in Sri Lanka as a member of the Monk family.

Activities & Shift

There’s not much to do—just help us promote the program, share your knowledge and skills, and enjoy exploring the real Sri Lanka. If you wish, you can also teach English to the children.


Rules

No alcohol, no smoking, no nudity. Dress code: cover shoulders and knees—long trousers/skirts and full T-shirts (no tank tops), long sleeves are fine too. Since Sri Lankans wear white at temples, it’s ideal to bring a few simple white clothes. Sri Lanka is hot (around 30°C), so come prepared.
