The experience

You'll find yourself split between the calm of the countryside and the lively atmosphere of Lisbon.
On the farm, I'm creating a peaceful, sustainable space where I can grow my own food and eventually host guests or even run retreats focused on yoga, tantra,personal development. In the city, there's a boat that needs some TLC—cleaning, repairs, and maybe even a little sailing fun. Whether we're working on the farm, fixing up the boat!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

I'm just a person that want to give live to a small farm that I own near Lisbon.
I want to make it worm, peacefull, where I can produce food in a sustainable way, with the possibility to eventually host guests or make it a retreat to yoga, tantra, parties, and so on...
I also own a boat in Lisbon, Belém that I'm renting to airbnb guests and some times I sail just for fun.
It will be hard work, working on the countryside and repairing staff.

Who are you not?
A person that came just to have a place to sleep and food while search for a job oportunity here because your main focus it's to find a job and live here doing the less as possible always looking for the watch to cumply with the schedule. Nothing agains you to fight for better opportunities.

Who are you?
A person that want to have fun, to do things with joy, curious, open mind, that find pleasure in the small things of life, that can go out with the host, to the busy city of Lisbon, or take a walk in the nature with the same pleasure.
A person that came to learn and it is a tourist doing connections learning.

Activities & Shift

Tasks: Feed the animals, water the plants, ciment, cut weeds, raise walls, pick fruit, make jam, plant trees, cut wood, clean the boat, ironing sheets, paint, varnish and so on.

Day to day tasks that you should do it for your self in order to live in a clean environment that do not count as working hours; cooking for you and for others, cleaning kitchen after you cook, living room after your meal, badroom after you use it, washing your clothes, etc.

This task will vary according to the weather and needs at the moment. You will do a variety of tasks.

Be happy, be respectful, DO NOT SMOKE.

You are coming to a diferent culture, accept and feel grateful for what I can serve you, I will be for your presence.

Every task that you start, finish it!
Every tool that you use, you put it back where it was or should be.
If you break something, please let me know.

When you finish a task, please tell me that and ask for another one.

You are in my house, I'm responsable for you, so keep me post where ever you are and what you are doing "every minute".

Don't leave the premises without telling that you will be doing so.

I'm not your boss or any other relative, I don't want to be babysitting you like if you are a kid

Days off. You can stay but you will not have free meals except breakfast.
I may need you to travel with me to Nort or South and also help me in other projects that I have. If that happen, I will pay for the trip.

If you don't want or you can't, we see if you can stay or if we finish your staying.
