The experience

I am retired and free from work and any schedule so I can offer a guest the magic and mystery of Yukon, but I can also offer roadtrips around Yukon, Alaska and Northern BC.

As my roadtrip companion, we can explore using a SUV as our vehicle giving us the option of tent, vehicle or hotel along the way.

Travel and explore, or stay local where you can practice things like Shinrin-yoku or Hydrotherapy to digitally detox. I am open to suggestions.

Program Details

Now retired, I am looking for new suggestions.

From adventures and day trips at or near home to roadtripping somewhere in Alaska, Yukon or Northern BC.

Basically, I need someone to talk to, help with chores and/or be a travel companion. You can spend your time at my rustic home learning Northern living or travel looking for adventures.

There's time for long conversations and I have many stories of 15 years of hosting travellers. I love conversations that are philosophical, supernatural or science based around a campfire.

Surrounded by forest in a small wilderness residential area you can practice Shinrin-yoku. Breath in the phytoncides!

With lakes in summer and hot springs all year around, another digital detox can be hydrotherapy.

Activities & Shift

As a travel companion or guest at home, you can help with planning and cooking. No scheduled shifts - total freedom on where we should travel or what activities we should do.

Learn Northern life doing chores like making firewood or swimming in Lakes (Summer) or hot springs (Winter).

An amazing rustic life in an off-grid repurposed home.

Rules

No smoking, vaping or drugs.

Must have trust. We will be sharing a large single room rustic house or a vehicle, and all adventures.
