I spent just over three weeks at the shelter. The dogs are so lovely, and they really are huge beautiful family. Andrea is lovely human being that opened the shelter just over a year ago, and to date they have over 50 rescued dogs. They've also re-homed a lot. It's such a lovely foundation and I would highly recommend to anyway to come here and help out making sure the dogs have the most comfortable life possible. I leave in a couple days and it will be with a heavy heart that I cannot take some of the dogs with me, but I definitely would love to come back and volunteer here again.

I had an amazing experience in the shelter. I finally found a place where I felt like I was doing something good, in this case, helping the dogs, and not just working in some hostel/hotel. The dogs are amazing, well-behaved, and there are tons of them (about 46 dogs). The beach nearby is so beautiful, the viewpoint, and the secret spot are also amazing.

If you love dogs and want to contribute to an amazing project, this is for you. All the dogs and puppies are very friendly and love to have your attention. We took care of them, gave them medicine, trained, and played with them, did some construction work (painting, cementing, new puppy cages, new area…etc) Andrea and Ale are simply amazing and always ready to hear our ideas. They put a lot of time and effort into this sanctuary, which creates a safe environment for the dogs. We love you ❤️

Anyone who loves dogs and is considering coming to travel to El Salvador, I highly recommend coming to volunteer in this wonderful project for at least a small part of your trip. The sanctuary is awesome, the volunteering is fun, the shelter where the sanctuary is located is wonderful and authentic, the beach is a 3 minute walk away, Andrea and Ale are amazing, the dogs are big balls of love, etc. + El Salvador is an extremely interesting country. In short, it is a wonderful and enriching experience that I recommend 200%.

I'm so happy to participate on this beautiful project. Andrea and Alejandro were always nice, and they take good care of the volunteers. The interaction with the dogs helped me to overcome some traumas. It gets easier when you learn their names. My time there couldn't have been any better. I loved it!The house was spacious and much better than you would expect (with basic things you need for living (a simple life). The work wasn't hard, and doable once you get the hang of it. I will miss all the dogs, but specially Lila, Pecas and the puppies. Mizata has stunning sunsets. Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed our stay at Impawsible village and had an amazing experience there. The dogs were so friendly and we loved going to the beach for the prettist sunsets. The work was pretty simple, we walked the dogs, cleaned their space, washed them and did some construction work. Andrea is the sweetest and caring person and is always ready to help with anything. Alejandro who also works there is so nice and helpful.

Very fun experience!! the home is a little rustikal so don't expect something luxurious, but still you have everything you need. Andrea has a kind heart and will help you with everything you need. Spending time with the dogs and going to The beach is very fun, would recommend ❤️

Me and my friend stayed for 2 weeks and we had such an amazing time! All of the dogs were so friendly and we got to know every one of them. We enjoyed working on the enclosure and getting it ready to move the dogs in! The dog walks were one of the best parts as there was always a beautiful sunset on the beach. Mizata is also one of the prettiest beaches we have been too so the location was so perfect as it's only a 5 minute walk away! We will miss every single dog and these past two weeks have been the best part of our trip!

I had amazing days at the Impawsible Village. Andrea really cares about the volunteers and the dogs. The work consists mainly in clean the place, take the dogs to walk on the beach and help with the general maintenance. The sanctuary is less than 10 minutes walking from mizata beach and the dogs are adorable and easygoing. A really good breakfast is offered and you can find mini markets near the house. Thanks Andrea and Ale for this great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the shelter. Ale and Andrea are both really kind, supportive and easy going. The working hours were quite flexible. For example, we got up really early in the morning and were therefore able to walk the dogs before it was too hot and sunny. Apart from walking the dogs, we cleaned their space, washed them and helped to paint the walls of the house. We had a lot of free time to enjoy the beach and the hot weather. At night the dogs can be quite loud, but earplugs helped us a lot to sleep. The house is very basic but offers everything you need.
