I have struggled to write this review because there is so much I wish to say. Tommaso and Cori are wonderful hosts who truly embody the spirit of this program. Your work will be hard, but for 5 hours a day, it flies by. If you are a hardworking, resilient person who likes being immersed in nature and local culture, you will thrive in Bagnala. They truly integrated us into their family and community, and I feel blessed to have worked with them. They worked alongside us and treated us with the utmost respect. It was an honor to work with them. I cannot recommend this experience enough! <3

I spent 3 weeks working at Bagnala and it was one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences. The work day is leisurely, with various types of tasks, but none that were unreasonably difficult. The lifestyle took a bit of adjusting to, and might be difficult for people who are not used to farm life, but the lovely people, fresh food, and stunning views makes it all worthwhile. Tommaso and Cori were extremely kind and helpful. They are part of a beautiful community and I would strongly recommend working here to get to know them better! (Also highly recommend practicing Italian beforehand)

This experience was definitely meant for growing as an individual but as part of the community. I've learned so much stuff that will remain with me and for that I'm so thankful. Cori and Tommaso are both so kind, attentive and supportive. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I loved it. As a solo female traveler I felt safe all the time, got the chance to meet so many people, visits the nearby places and be part of the local life for a little while. The conditions are a bit rough, but with the people you meet there, it's worth it! Thank you so much for this!!

I loved my time in Margno! Tommaso and his family are very nice and accommodating. I learned a lot about tradition farming practices and the lay of the beautiful land. This experience is a wonderful way to appreciate the secludedness of a small mountain town, and really get to know your food. Tommy is extremely accommodating with the work concerning your personal plans and is encouraging to go see the local events and wants you to be a part of the community.

Tommy and Cory are wonderful people- kind, caring and friendly along with their two little kids, Aki and Gesi. Spending time at their farm was a great experience as we learned a lot about permaculture, cooking, food preservation, natural lifestyle and Italian culture(specially food). We had the chance to explore Valsassina, going on hikes, attending local festivals and hanging out with their friends. This experience was a great way to connect with nature and bond with other volunteers who made it even better, creating a warm and family- like atmosphere. Thanks for everything & see you soon! ✨

Such a unique and wonderful experience, surrounded by nature, knowledge and great food, you'll be learning a lot of sustainable practices and how is the life for Italian farmers. The family is simply wonderful and I will always have a piece of them with me, they are warm, funny, helpful and intelligent. The work is very handy so, prepare to sweat, but no worries, you'll be able to pull it out. You'll have a full local Italian experience in such a different way, the family will always do their best to show you around, take you places, connect with the community, and the region. Thank you!

Going to Tommy's, Cori's, Achi's and Gessi's farm was an amazing experience. As people leaving in Milan, Katy and I were looking to disconnect from the city's chaos, and that's exactly what we did. Other than helping in the farm (by harvesting vegetables, cooking, caring logs, maintenance and such) we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in their Italian rural lifestyle. We had amazing food, we did challenging hikes with incredible views, and we met incredible people, not only Tommy and Cori (and their children which are crazily amazing!) but also the volunteers that were there with us <3

It was an incredible experience. We learned a lot about permaculture and were able to connect more with the Earth and the natural environment. Tommy and Corinne made us feel like home, welcomed us and helped with everything.

I spent 2 fantastic weeks in Margno with Tommy, Corine, and the monellis haha. Margno is close to Pian delle Betulle, Bellano (Lake Como), and Lugano, perfect for visiting on free days. There are several trails connecting the villages in the area. Regarding the work, the tasks vary depending on the weather and the season, but they are easy to carry out, and Tommy is patient when explaining. The food is excellent, and the local cheeses are spectacular!!
