The experience

We are a regenerative farm with a farmstay facility. This is a relatively new venture that combining farmactivities with hospitality. Daily activities include cleaning of the rooms, tidying the surroundings while tending to the farm animals (dogs, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs...) and joining us in all type of tasks on the farm. When visitors are present they need pampering. We are looking for help to work with us.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Portuguese

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

A normal work starts early to prepare for the guests day and also to attend to the farm chores. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the activities in the morning. Afternoons are usually free, travellers can join us for more activities or take time off.

Activities & Shift

Morning shift, the rest of the day travellers can still jump in or decide to take time of. We are looking for happy, positive and flexible attitudes. Ready to work hard (it is a farm) but also ready to enjoy nature, the pool, the quiet surroundings and have fun.

Rules

Travellers are expected to join us and other travellers as a family. Lunch and dinner are usually taken together. When more travellers are present, they sleep together in a dormitory.
