This volunteer experience took place on a cute organic farm managed by Tommaso, who was also my host. I helped with harvesting vegetables, cleaning, and feeding animals, and it was amazing to see how balanced and peaceful nature can be. The accommodation was comfortable, and the kitchen was well structured. Tommaso was very kind and, even with his busy routine, always found time to cook and share meals with the volunteers. I greatly improved my Italian and would love to come back! Grazie mile

I absolutely loved my time at the farm!!! Tommy is so kind and accommodating and it was probably my favourite work that I have done on Worldpackers! I loved harvesting and learning the different vegetables!! Amazing accomodation, food and company!! Thank you so much!!

Being back in this magnificent place fills my heart with happiness. Tommy is an incredible human being, deeply passionate about what he has built. Here, I learned so much about fruits, vegetables, planting and harvesting techniques, and about sustainable, family-run agriculture done with care. If you're looking for peace, learning, and great company, this is the right place. Thank you for welcoming me once again, Tommy. There are bikes available so you can explore around easily, hot showers and the place is very organized with confortable bed and food provided is delicious A big hug Tommy🤗

I had an amazing experience here. Tommy is a great host and super laid back. I loved working out in the fields and learning how to harvest different crops. The work hours are great and you get the weekends off. I was even able to take a day trip to Switzerland. The house is also very big and nice, and the other volunteers were lovely.

This was an incredible experience! Tommy is very kind and understanding. The accommodations are very clean and nice (plus they have heating!), there is always plenty of food, and the hours are always respected! We only work in the morning and the work is fun. I've learned a lot about how various plants grown and I love being able to eat fresh produce that's grown right outside. The BEST experience!

My second time at the farm just made me remember why I wanted to come back! Working in a farm that respects nature and the environment is just the base of this great project, that also gives you the opportunity of meeting and living with people from all over the world with different backgrounds but that are there for the same reasons: helping, learning and having a good quality time. My experience at the farm was just amazing - the farm is beautiful, the work is fun and Tommaso is such a welcoming and caring host. I really enjoyed taking care of the animals and learning so much about all the vegetables and fruits! Everything is well explained and working hours are always respected - had plenty of free time for trips to milan and abbiategrasso or just going for a walk by the river. I'm gonna miss the sunsets at the water, the shared meals & moments full of laughter throughout the day! Thank you for everything, Tommaso!

I had the absolute best time at the farm! We harvested lots of different vegetables but the work changed each day and was always fun. I really loved when Tommaso would teach us a little bit of history about the vegetable, it really made the experience unique to Italy. Spending the days feeding the animals, harvesting lots of veggies, cooking with the other volunteers, riding the bikes and exploring abbiategrasso with new friends are just some of the memories I'll cherish forever. This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. Thank you Tommaso!!

This place is so lovely. I love it so much that I even don't wanna leave. The work is not hard, clearly explained ( Tommaso is so patient and teaches the volunteers about vegetables) and hours are respected. Feel lucky and grateful to have been here and met other volunteers. We laughed so much together. It was so fun. 100% recommend this place.

Daily tasks are joyous— even therapeutic at times. We harvested numerous vegetables. We tasted unfamiliar fruits. What a gift to eat them freshly picked! The bike ride to town is lovely with the countryside as your scenery. My favorite ticino river holds quiet places to breathe and reflect. The farm is beautiful. Imagine starting the day during a soft sunrise, droplets on misty grass reflect the light while trees slowly appear through the fog. It's easy to feel poetic here :) Tommaso is kindhearted, a patient teacher and immensely generous. Grazie mille! I will treasure these memories <3
