My stay here was an amazing learning experience, and something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. You really get to immerse in the local culture! We got food 3 times a day - and had so much fun with the kids in the village, they are really willing to learn. You will be treated like a superstar here, and have al lot of pictures taken. Yuli is amazing and caring, but we did have a hard time understanding what our job was at times and kind of just hang around- It was one of the most beautiful places I have been. The room is humid… and simple, but overall an amazing experience

I recommend this experience, you will live in a typical Indonesian family full of kindness. You will meet Yuli and her son Rafa, accompanied by these parents and his brother's family. About every evenings you will teach English to children, who are curious, motivated, and very smiling. And on weekdays, you will go to school where Yuli teaches, the teachers are really nice. I spent very goods times with these teachers ! It's an agricultural school where you will discover and learn about agricultural methods, cooking (I ate very well😜), etc ! Very rewarding experience ! I had a really good experience there! Yuli and her family made me feel really comfortable and part of the family. They will take you to a nice places and will show you the local culture. They also provide food and coffee all the time. I have teaching in different environments such as private and public schools and at the village as well. You will become friend of the teachers, a superstar for the locals and the kids will love you! It's a good opportunity to immerse yourself in the local life and meet nice people.

This place was surrounded by the most amazing nature, rice fields and mountains! So beautiful and we could always borrow the scooter to explore the villages and surroundings - loved that! Yuli and the rest of the family were very welcoming and sweet! I thought I was supposed to go to the same school and class everyday, I must say it was more a cultural exchange rather than being a teacher at a school. But I did learn a lot and it was interesting! The room could've been better, it was a bit humid for my stuff. But over and all, very giving experience

La experiencia en este voluntariado fue hermosa, me encantó estar en el hogar y la escuela, las personas súper lindas, me hicieron sentir muy bien recibida y en familia, las clases son con los chicos de la secundaria y por las tardes con algunos niños en casa, todos muy lindos y atentos, tuve la oportunidad de conectar con gente local, ver las costumbres y como es la educación en este país, me encantó la experiencia porque yo soy maestra en 🇲🇽, fue maravilloso, muchas gracias por todo, espero verlos de nuevo 🫂🫂🫂
