The experience

At Erna's Ecofarm, you will become part of our family and community, immersing yourself within the local culture!

Dive into the world of sustainable practices, with hands on experience gardening, composting, and maintaining our crops!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: We provide a private room with fan, wifi, electricity, drinking water etc. as well as 3 meals a day provided for you! We also have a motorbike available for your use!


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate Indonesian or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We're dedicated to organic gardening, composting, and eco-friendly practices. Engage deeply with local life and culture while learning invaluable skills in sustainable agriculture. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, our program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to environmental conservation and community development.

We also work in partnership with local NGO and community, you can join then in some of the activities.


Activities & Shift

Gardening and Plant Care: Hands-on experience in planting, watering, and caring for organic crops.

Composting Workshop: Learn the art of composting, turning waste into nutrient-rich soil for our gardens.

Cultural Exchange: Engage in cultural activities such as traditional cooking classes, language exchange.


Rules

No smoking in the house, but you can smoke outside.
No pets - we already have cats.
Always smile!!
