I had an amazing time being included with the hostel family! The staff is absolutely amazing and so nice and welcoming. I spent over 5 weeks at the hostel and it flew by! I love how organized the volunteer position is with set shifts and scheduling and the shift times vary. The only thing that adds pressure to the position is getting reviews weekly, as there is a time and place to ask guests for reviews and its not always ideal during a specific shift time. Other than that, I would totally recommend volunteering here and just be honest and open with communication if any issues or questions arise!

Awesome experience and one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Super clean. Plenty of facilities, free breakfast/yoga, big pool, and laundry service close by. Fun yet relaxed environment. Meet plenty of travelers and easy to make friends. Staff is very nice and helpful. Different activities going on daily/ nightly. An awesome experience. Thank you the hostel !

The local staff members are the sweetest and most caring people EVER. Thank you Fedy, Arya, Kadek, Eddy, Farhan, Yulia, Maria, Hendra and the new trainee from reception (i'm not sure how to write her name)!! I truly became friends with them and they made me feel like home. the hostel truly has the best customer base. It's not a party hostel but rather a social coworking hostel so a lot of the guest stay longterm or are returning guests. I made a second family from the guests and there was always someone taking care of me (the guests are usually on average 24-30 where as I am 21).

As a new yoga teacher, it was a great opportunity to teach and learn. Each day, at least 9-15 people joined the yoga class, which allowed me to gain confidence and experience in teaching. the hostel team was amazing—everything was well-organized, from tasks to the work schedule—making it easy for me to enjoy exploring Bali. I would totally recommend this place for volunteering if you're a yoga teacher!

The hostel is beautiful and the local staff are kind, but there's no real team vibe—everyone works alone. If you don't get perfect 10/10 reviews in your first week, you're out. I had a 9.4 on Hostelworld and was still let go. The contract says roles will be “re-evaluated,” but that just means fired. It's also hard to get reviews due to the setup. A guest told me someone gets dismissed almost every week because of this. I wish a better communication and also maybe help people a bit if they're doing not as good in the beginning.

Reviews are part of the job, but beyond that, you were unable to effectively promote our events and had difficulty bringing people together. I loved my time at the hostel. I grew so much as a teacher, learned new skills, and even got to lead puppy yoga! Salome is amazing! There was a bit of pressure from upper management around reviews and constantly collecting them from guests that sometimes affected the atmosphere, however this is something I'm sure can be relaxed over time as the hostel grows. Overall, I'm super grateful for the experience—perfect if you're looking to develop your yoga teaching in a beautiful setting.

I had the best time ever with the hostel! The staff I was working was amazing, both local people and volunteers. The tasks can be quite various depending on your assets, I worked for breakfast from 8.30 to 10 and then I would work on Night Shift (7.00-10.30pm) to create animations for the guest, or during the day (taking pictures for social media, helping with other tasks…). My hours were always respected, as if I had to work more one day for some reasons I would work less another day. The two date off are in a row which is good to visit Bali! It's the best way to meet local and foreigners

Although my experience at the hostel was cut short due to a family emergency, I really enjoyed the time I spent there and will talk fondly of it to anyone who is looking for recommendations in Bali. The space is new and comfortable, it's big with lots of hangout spaces, the staff in the hostel were really friendly and the other volunteers during my time there made my short stay enjoyable. I wish I could have spent longer volunteering here and developing the skills and goals I set out to achieve. But I guess I will just have to come back in the future sometime

I worked five days of the week of afternoon or night shifts, and on my days off could explore the canggu area, but not lots to do outside the hostel. you are looking to chill and meet lots of people, this is great for you, as the area is very touristy and mainly just shops, places to eat and go out, and some basic beaches. the environment and other workers were extremely kind and welcoming, a very beautiful hotel with many places to chill and a lot of returning guests. management was a bit confusing at times, with some trouble/confusion in tasks and timing but overall was a relaxing time.

The month at the hostel has been amazing! Truly recommended. Very beautiful hostel in such a good and quiet location! The job was fun, the environment and atmosphere was perfect and all the staff super good! I met so many travellers who became friends and enjoy my time a lot. If you are sociable and you are looking for a place to "settle" for a bit, socialising, arranging events and uploading social media, this is the volunteering for you! Thank you the hostel for everything, it was beyond expectation!
