This is a great experience! One which offers so many cultural exchanges with the chance to take part in more than just teaching English. We would m highly recommend this experience to others. The family and friends are all so welcoming and the children are eager to learn.

What a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for having us and allowing us to meet many people and experience so much. This has been the best experience of our trip so far. Hoa and his family are welcoming and the children in the community are brilliant. It's been a pleasure to speak English to the children and spend time with them. Our time here exceeded our expectations and allowed us to take part in many activities such as pickleball, roller skating, camping, fishing, swimming, pottery, crocheting, cooking and more. We will always remember our time in Quy Nhon fondly, thank you!

I had a wonderful time there. Even though I was sick the first few days the family took really good care of me. The sweet niece Truc shows you around town and also the best food spots. Besides that the family also took my to their big family dinner which was super interesting and the English club you participate in is also a lot fun. It's not like hard work, overall this experience was just the perfect way to interact with locals, learn about their culture and also being able to show a little bit of your culture. The hospitality I experienced with the host family was the best I have ever had.

My time with Hoa and his beautiful family was quite short, only just over a week, however it was such a unique and beautiful experience. Despite me visiting during a very busy time, the family, and countless other families, made time to show me around the city, and teach me about the culture. You will have lots of free time to explore, and so many opportunities to meet local children and families. The Homestay is very comfortable, with your own bathroom and bedroom. I will miss Quy Nhon and the family very much!

Our stay in Quy Nhon was a good experience overall. We spent evenings at the café speaking English with the local children, who were very bright and energetic, and met welcoming families who helped us explore the city. The accommodation was very basic, with a thin mattress, no desk, and weak internet, and we didn't spend much time with the host family. A curfew at 10 pm (later 11 pm) was never mentioned beforehand and felt early, as the town is still lively then. Still, it was a fun and valuable cultural exchange and a chance to connect with local people.

My experience with this host family was mixed. The family was very busy, so we had little contact and I didn't feel very welcome. Many promised daily activities did not happen, and the most were canceled, which made our stay less engaging. The room had only a thin mattress, worn walls, and some cleanliness issues like small hairs and ants. Working with the children at the café was enjoyable and a bright part of the stay. Fast internet and a proper workspace were promised but not fully available. A 10 PM curfew was introduced without prior notice. Overall, I would not choose this host again.

I stayed for one week and I loved how flexible Hoa was with putting a schedule together for me. He clearly listed out the English class hours and offered additional social time for me to experience Quy Nhon. There really is a beautiful network of families supporting kids learning English. The kids are excited and curious and conversing in English was fun, especially when we played games. My heart was so full and I've never had such an immersive cultural experience. It's beautiful to see how dedicated the families are to learning. Quy Nhon is not touristy so it's a lovely place to visit!

We are very happy because Heidi stayed with us.
I will try write as much as possible with my bad English
We wanted she stays with us for 2 weeks, but she had fixed plan
Heidi is a warm , active and knowlegeable girl . She was happy when she talked to the children , and inspired them , made them more confident .
She joined many our activities like hiking, yoga , waterfall and she can cook Bánh Xèo ( traditional cake here )
Especially , She shared for the children a lots useful news about Bungaria
And she was very patient when she talked to me .
We love you Heidi and hope to see you again

I had a wonderful time with the family! Out of my time in Vietnam, these two weeks have probably been the most impactful. I've learned so much about the Vietnamese way of living, world view and enjoyed spending time with local people so much. The work with the kids is very fun and rewarding, the families take you on cool activities and the warmth, generosity and curiosity I was welcomed with impressed me. Thanks dear Hoa family, that I could be part of your life for two weeks. I hope we'll meet again some day!! <3

The host family is incredibly kind and helpful. They selflessly help local children learn English, which is truly inspiring. They organize your time wonderfully, and their friends make sure you're entertained—there's no chance of getting bored! If you're looking for an authentic local experience, this is the perfect place. A huge plus is having your own room with a private bathroom, and they even provide a bike for you to use. When I applied, I knew it would be good, but the experience has far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend :)
