It was my first experience as a volunteer and everything went well. George is a very nice and kind man, ready to help and explain what needs to be done. The hostel is a bit rustic but an oasis of peace, with a large garden full of plants of all kinds and lots of cats. About 10 minutes walk there is a beautiful beach, maybe not the ideal place to go out as it's a bit isolated but there are many buses that take you to the city center. The hostel is frequented mainly by adult men, maybe not ideal for young girls but despite this I recommend it to everyone, it was a magnificent experience!

My stay at the hostel Botanica was amazing! Tulio, an amazing and respectful host, ensured I had a place to rest upon my early morning arrival and constantly made sure I was comfortable throughout. The owner is a friendly, and fantastic person, and his brother has great knowledge of plants. The hostel is home to 10+ adorable cats and lush greenery, creating a peaceful vibe. Grill nights were a highlight, and the hostel people were fun and easygoing. Work hours were fair and flexible, and tasks were as agreed. Overall, a memorable and wonderful experience—highly recommended!

This was my first worldpackers experience and George (the owner) was very kind and generous, the people were very authentic and created a great community. The living conditions aren't perfect, I slept (as a young woman) in a room with 4 men, (one who snored especially loud so be prepared) The mattresses are very thin so you can feel the railings of the bed but it was manageable. George often took everyone out for a night at beach clubs and dancing which was enjoyable! Overall it was an eye opening experience and people should go into it with an open mind! The work load was also very minimal!

I had a great time at this experience. I stayed for a week and only had to da couple hours of work daily. The host was really chill and accommodating! I stayed during the pre season so there weren't many guests at the hostel, however with the people that were there I hung out with and enjoyed my time with. The hostel is a cool facility with a huge garden. The area itself is just outside of the city centre. It's really close to the beach and bus systems. A beautiful place to spend time.

The hostel and the people there are very welcoming, it feels like you're living in a big tropical garden (and its a 15 min walk to the beach). The tasks are usually easy and are exactly as agreed upon if not less, I would recommend to every cat lover(they have 14 very sociable cats) and everyone that wants to meet many other travelers and explore this area.

**To anyone reading, Preslava was a great volunteer, always friendly and positive, and she was exceptional at the work tasks. Everybody liked her. We can recommend her 100%!!!

The best experience I could ever had. The work was easy and I got the opportunity to meet locals and international friends. The owners are really nice and excellent cook. I had one of the best times of my life there and also found love with one of the volunteers as well, now we are traveling together Highly recommended, go to Varna if you can!

The whole experience was great, the hosts and the team were really fun. There is a problem with the rules though, it is said that EVERYONE has to do their own dishes and clean up after themselves, which is only respected by the team. The guests, who are long term guests, got too comfortable and decided that everything had to be done by the volonteers. This problem was told to the hosts, Tulio and George (owner), with which they replied "we are going to talk to them", as it was mainly mentionned during the end of my stay, I can't talk about what has happened after that. Besides that, I had fun.

It was a great place to do my first volunteer experience. The work is easy and the hours are well respected, the other volunteer was super nice and the owner sometimes does party nights and cooks for everyone. Overall it was a good experience.

I had a nice time here. The place is a little old, a little rustic, so if you're sensitive to a bit of grime this won't be a good fit for you. Due to ongoing construction in the roads, the water sometimes didn't run for a couple hours in the morning. Lots of kitties, impressive garden.

Tulio is a cool host! All the tasks are there to do and can be done in 2h/ day. The weather is nice, the beaches around amazing. Definitely a place that was hard to say goodbye.
