Program Details

We are a family of three living on a finca in northern Spain, located between Caspe and Maella in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon. In 2021, I purchased this finca, which includes a masia (farmhouse), driven by a belief in living a more self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.

I started this journey with some local help, but after three years (in 2024), I’ve realized I could use additional support. With no prior experience, transitioning to this way of life has been an adventure I don’t regret. However, it has also highlighted both my strengths and areas where I could use some help. That’s where you come in!

I’d greatly appreciate your assistance with a variety of tasks (see details below).

Thank you!

Activities & Shift

Depending on the weather, I expect you to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Depending the weather circumstances we discuss the working hours and which tasks to focus on and when to do them.

Rules

You’ll be part of our family and live under our roof, so I’d like us to share dinner together (breakfast and lunch are flexible depending on your schedule). Our house is small but, hopefully, cozy enough. You may have a private room, but sometimes you might need to share it with one of us. I hope that’s okay with you.

We have four cats, so please ensure you’re not allergic. Smoking is not allowed in the house. I’ve prepared a simple manual for life in our house on the finca, which I’ll ask you to read upon arrival. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask questions—I’m open to suggestions. However, I do expect you to follow these guidelines. If not, I may need to shorten your stay.
