First time being a volunteer couldn't have been any better. Made a lot of new friends and felt like home at the hostel❤️ Tasks were easy and the staff always made sure we knew what needed to be done. Had a lot of free time to explore and enjoy! The month was unforgettable, thank you🩷

It was very nice! All the tasks are easy and you can really enjoy the international environment and the beaches. In the middle of my volunteer, I was in an accident and had some injuries and they were really helpful and nice! I would definitely recommend

Great time at the hostel, quite close to the main beaches, Himarë is a small town, so you will know all the people in no time. Karaoke and ping pong nights were the best. The best of the hostel was the staff, Mikel and Klevis. Thank you guys!

I had the most amazing time volunteering at the hostel! It was my first volunteer experience and I am honestly so lucky and forever grateful to have been able to come to the hostel. The team made me feel so welcome and they now feel like family. The work for me was easy, just normal cleaning jobs. At first the management seemed too relaxed, but the hostel was quiet and you can always find ways to help out. It is so so sad to say goodbye to the hostel and Himare but I will definitely be coming back here soon!!!

I had a great time at the hostel, work hours were chill and and the job was pretty easy and the staff was really friendly. The beach is only a 5 minute bike ride away on nice bikes that you can you can take for free at any time, the kitchen was well equiped and Gjergji was always ready to answer any questions and give recommendations on what to do in Himare

Lots of free time whilst staying here! The owner was super accommodating, friendly and nice, helping out whenever he could and giving tips on where to get and what to do. Worked everyday from 9am ish till 1pm ish, leaving the entire afternoon and evening free for going to the beach and doing activities!

The hostel is a wonderful destination to immerse yourself in Albania and a variety of cultures. I highly recommend this experience for individuals who enjoy typical hostel tasks, helping clean, organize, and overall improving accommodations. More guidance from the hosts at the start, as to what was expected from me would have been helpful. The hosts assisted in navigating the area and welcomed all like family. I am very thankful for my experience, with the ability to explore, learn more about other perspectives, expanding my life knowledge and about the hostel business.

We truly enjoyed having Rachel with us and spending time together. The fact that she woke up so early and had already tidied things up while we were still asleep shows how much she cares about what she does. She’s hardworking, social, and knows how to enjoy life. She brought great value to our place, and we're really happy to have met her.

Gjergji and Deniz were great hosts. It is a very cozy hostel with a homely atmosphere. The tasks were very easy and basically self explanatory. Himarë is a beautiful place with amazing beaches and friendly locals. Would definitely recommend for anyone ✌

My experience at the hostel was amazing! The hosts Gjergji, Chris and Deniz were so welcoming and made it feel like home! It was the off season so the work was very minimal. Mainly laundry, cleaning rooms and setting up rooms for guests. A lot of time was spent socialising with guests, other volunteers and exploring Himara. This was my first worldpackers experience and it was the perfect first time. Thank again to the hostel and everyone there for making this such a special experience! I hope to be back one day!

We had a wonderful time working with Mia during the three weeks she spent with us. Even though it was the off-season, she was a huge help in getting things ready for the new season. We truly hope she visits Himare again during one of the upcoming summer seasons — we'd be so happy to have her back with us!

My first volunteering experience was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better one! Gjiergji is incredible person and kind soul, I found out many interesting stories about Albania, he made me feel like at home. Work was super simple : cleaning main kitchen,cleaning bathrooms, making beds, doing laundry. I was connect with nature every day, make friends from all over the world. If you're looking for an experience near the beach with great waves I highly recommend this one!
