It's the fourth year we run the hostel , I'm a mechanical engineer (Gjergji ) and my son Kris is an electronic engineer. We know Himarë and around from 1988 , we have the second house here , the main house is in Tiranë. Himarë is a fantastic place for the people that likes the beaches and the sea ! How the volunteers expect to be treated .... like their home , promise !

I can’t put into words how special Oasis and Himare have been for me🌞💛🥰 my first worldpackers experience & I already cannot wait to return next season. Everyone has been so welcoming and made me feel part of the team as soon as I arrived. The volunteer room is so cute and you get your own private area away from everyone else. 10/10 experience, from the place to the people and everything in between (and the cat cuddles) I can truly recommend this experience to anybody looking to make friends with locals, backpackers and anyone who loves a laid back beach town full of hidden gems & cliff jumps🤪

I chose Oasis Hostel for my first Worldpackers experience and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The work is manageable and you have plenty of free time to explore Himarë or spend time at the beach. The hostel is very social, there is always something going on, like karaoke nights, BBQs or movie nights. The owners are such amazing people, they made me feel so welcome. I met so many people from all over the world, and I feel very lucky to have lived such a beautiful experience.

My first WorldPackers and I had such an amazing time at Oasis! The team was so nice and the managers were very considerate. Hours were respected and you have plenty of time to explore or chill at the beach. The vibe at the hostel was so relaxing and fun. Met a lot of new people from all over the world and had some very fun nights! Absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for an amazing time at a social place! Breakfast and lunch are included and the numerous BBQ nights also give you to opportunity to have a free dinner if you help preparing.
Will for sure come back! Thanks guys!

I had the most incredible time volunteering at Oasis! From the minute I arrived, the owners were so welcoming and kind and the other volunteers were amazing. The expectations for work are clear and the work is not too difficult. It is such a fun place with lots of activities to get involved in and opportunities to socialise. Himare is a beautiful location and such a special place to call home for a bit. I could not recommend volunteering here high enough! I loved every minute!
