The experience

Make a small educational project to share your skills with the children from our village. We need volunteers to teach them English, Spanish, French, computer skills,arts, play sports. Peixinhos is a cultural and educational project that believes children can learn anywhere, especially in contact with nature.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Volunteers should help with the regular activities at Peixinhos. And also, create a small educational project with a skill that he/she would like to share with the children.
