It was an amazing experience! There is not a lot going on in Uttaradit, but Peter provided something nice to do every day! I feel like you need to search for something you like to do in your free time and just blend with the locals! The local experience is indeed amazing, the people are so nice. Even though they sometimes can't speak english, they still make you feel welcomed. And then the kids, they are so so cute. They are so playfull and curious. I loved my time here and hope I can come back some time!

Uttaradit was a great experience, the community really gave me familiarity from back home living in North Carolina. The environment, & the people, really made me forget that I was in Thailand, sometimes still had some unreal realizations that I am in Thailand. Peter was a great host, very business oriented individual, reminded me of myself back home in America. He knows Uttaradit very well & introduced me to some great people. A place that I would definitely return to especially for the Muay Thai. Uttaradit is a great place to come to for a reset, & experience the slow pace of the country.

I planned two weeks but stayed longer — that says a lot. The kids were lovely, screaming “teacher” and hugging us. One student's drawing even became my first tattoo. Still, some things aren't clear when applying: the accommodation is basic, shared, and not cleaned. I moved to a hotel in the last week (better). You pay separately for electricity, motorbike rental is needed, and teaching is mostly flashcards and playtime (in total around 2h). Great time, but info lacked clarity and volunteer potential wasn't fully used. Message me for full review!!

I had a truly incredible experience volunteering teaching English at the the school. Peter and Sira were very lovely hosts. They were welcoming and communicated what was expected of us so there were no surprises. Peter planned many activities for the afternoon after we finished the the school day and took us to many amazing, affordable local restaurants. The children here are adorable and eager to learn. Working with the students with special educational needs was one of my personal highlights of teaching at the the school. You will learn as much from the students as they learn from you!

I had a really nice time here. Peter is a great host and has a big heart, and almost everyday has activities planned for the volunteers. Teaching English at the the school was incredible, the kids are so cute and eager to learn and it felt really great to be part of something so special. :)

This the school offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about Thai education and meet a fantastic volunteering community! The volunteer leader Peter is supportive and helpful and has a fantastic knowledge of local places to eat and enjoy. At the the school, like any the school, there are children who are further ahead in their English speaking/reading compared to others. After some experience in teaching I would suggest grouping children into their ability level, creating learning programmes that challenge the more able child/meet others at there ability level. Volunteers would love to do this!

This experience was outstanding! Peter is an incredible host who genuinely cares for not just the students but volunteers as well. The commitment is fair, and the kiddos are adorable. We spent most of our time with kindergarteners and every day was a blast. The mission of the the school is admirable: acclimating kids to English and to interacting with foreigners. It's one of a kind in the area. Aside from the teaching part, Uttaradit is an amazing town full of the most friendly people. I really got to know the locals and they treated us like family on multiple occasions.

I had the most incredible time volunteering at the the school! The experience gave me such a great insight into education in Thailand and Thai culture. The children in the the school were so sweet and full of life. Peter was the most incredible host, made us feel so at home and welcomed in Uttaradit. He planned amazing trips such as a motor bike tour and a waterfall hike that were some of my favourite experiences in Thialand. He also planned incredible dinners in the nicest restaurants all around Utteradit.I would highly recommend this volunteer programme to all!!

What more can i say about the the school other than it was amazing! I had the most wonderful time at this the school and it was truly a great stepping stone to starting my career in teaching English abroad. Peter and Sira were great hosts, always looking out for the volunteers and making sure that we were comfortable. They also planned several activities in the afternoons which were entertaining and fun. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience and definitely want to go again in the future! :)
