Teaching English or Chinese in Thailand

The best part of this the experience is definitely the kids. They're eager to learn and always smiling at you, asking for a hug. The apartments are simple but clean, and sometimes you'll share a twin room with someone of the same gender. There's a bathroom, balcony, aircon, and a fridge. I rented a scooter because it's more convenient, but the the school is only about 1 km away, you can easily walk if you want. All the info is on the website, and you'll get a presentation in your confirmation email. On your first day, Peter gives an intro and you can ask as many questions as you want.

Teaching English and playing with the adorable kids at the the school was an incredible experience. The children were eager to learn, welcoming, and sweet. My co-volunteers were enthusiastic and worked well together. Our amazing host, Peter, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring our comfort and even taking us around to explore local culture and cuisine. Volunteers also helped with admin and maintenance projects for an hour. This opportunity was the perfect mix of meaningful work and cultural immersion. I highly recommend it! I miss everyone!

Peter and Sira operate a well organized volunteer teaching program. While I was there, the main focus is on grade K but there is an English class each day for older children 1-5. The children are full of love and very respectful of all teachers. There is plenty of support for volunteers including organized social activities. Accommodations are comfortable and scooter rental is available. Uttaradit is an authentic Thai small city (no tourism) bordering the hill country where you can experience the everyday life of normal folks.

I had an amazing experience in Uttaradit!! Peter was such a welcoming host and took us all around Uttaradit to show us all the great places. He took us on a waterfall hike, scooter tours, to coffee places and to the best (Thai) restaurants. Also the kids at the schools are so lovely and always made me so happy and grateful to be here. I'd definitely recommend this experience, but keep in mind that Uttaradit is not a touristy place so you won't meet lots of other backpackers đź’—

I had an amazing experience in Uttaradit, a huge shout out goes out to Peter that organised an activity for us every day making sure we we get to experience the “real Thailand”, he gave us so much of his time making sure we have a great time which I truly appreciate. The kids are so cute and brightened my every day. I love the fact that there were more volunteers from all around the world and we all made a connection with each other which made the experience even greater and more fun. Overall I made so many unforgettable memories and honestly I could not recommend this place enough

I was at the Parada the school for about three weeks and wish I could've stayed longer. There were many activities planned every week and living with the other volunteers in the same building resulted in great friends. The kids are amazing to teach and are always excited to see new people. This is a great people to make a difference teaching English and to make lasting connections

I recently spent two weeks at the the school on a group trip, and I had such an amazing time. The host is so friendly & plans many wonderful activities throughout the stay. Uttaradit is a very nice, small town with great local prices! The kids at the the school are the best part of the entire experience. They are so sweet, and I miss them already. I highly recommend volunteering at the the school while you're in Thailand! You will be teaching, but you will learn even more from the kids! Thank you for this experience! I loved it soo much!

My time volunteering at the the school exceeded my expectations and was an experience of a life time. Our host, Peter, was incredible as he had activities planned for our group trip every day and made sure to give us a local experience trying local foods, celebrating traditional events, immersing ourselves into the culture, and more. He is very organized, caring, and funny. He made sure he could do everything possible to make sure we settled in comfortably and show us around. He gave us such a unique experience to make an impact on the children's lives forever. Thank you so much!!!
