I had high hopes for my Worldpackers experience, It was my first experience and I really wanted to connect with nature and ride horses . but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. From the start, there was very little interaction beyond work-related tasks. While I understand that volunteering involves responsibilities, the workload kept increasing daily, making it not feel so good .Additionally, there was no real effort to build connections or create a welcoming atmosphere. After four days, I decided to leave as the experience wasn't what I had hoped for.

I almost spent 2 week there and I have to say that it didnt feel that long at all. The time run because your days were always full of unexpected experiences, work and fun times. Hard work and ambition is demanded what teached me to show more discipline and motivation in life. I learned to ignore my fears and that it really made me grow as a person. The minimalistic lifestyle is teaching you to appreciate much more in life. A point that could get improved is a better communication and a bit more speaking of English. Sending love and a big Thank you to Carmo, Violette, Rafa and George!

I had a good time volunteering with Violette and Carmo. There was a good mix of working with them and doing work on my own. Work consisted mostly of painting their new tack room and reception and giving the horses food and hay in the morning and evening. Hardly felt like work :) I'll definitely miss this experience I had 🫶🏻
