We are after people with Bar & Restaurant front of house (waitstaff) experience in fast paced environment! If this sounds like your thing, I would love to hear from you to be a part of our amazing team, set in the heart of an absolutely stunning location, The Blue Mountains!


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Basically, if you share your time with us to help out in our Bar & Restaurant, we provide accomodation and meals (During restaurant & Bar hours of operation) with a decent amount of free days to explore what the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage area has to offer.


Activities & Shift

Our hours of operation are generally Thursday to Monday. You would be required (Based on your skills and willingness to learn) to perform tasks such has take drink and food orders, run meals, clear tables, meet, greet and seat our wonderful guests, make drinks (RSA required) and take payment etc. Sound like your vibe?


Rules

House Rules

Visitors:
- For the comfort and security of all guests, no visitors are permitted on the premises.

Cleanliness:
- Please help us maintain a pleasant environment by keeping shared areas tidy. Remember to clean up after yourself in communal spaces such as the kitchen, bathroom, and lounge.
- After cooking, kindly wash your dishes and utensils, put them away, and label any personal food items.

No Parties
- No drinking parties onsite. This is in consideration of a preserving healthy and respectful atmosphere for all our guests

Quiet Hours:
- To ensure a restful atmosphere, quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping noise to a minimum during this time.

Smoking Policy:
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises.

Check-Out Procedures:
- Before checking out, please:
- Remove all linens from your bed.
- Vacuum the floor.
- Dispose of all rubbish in the designated bins.
- Take any food items you brought into the kitchen or dispose of them in the bin.

Energy Conservation and Security:
- Please turn off all equipment and lights after use to promote energy conservation.
- Ensure that all doors are securely locked when leaving the premises.

- Remember, keeping the space tidy and secure is your responsibility. Cleaning supplies can be found in the kitchen, along with the vacuum.
