I had a nice time working here for three weeks. I had a lot of fun with the staff and other volunteers. The agreement was respected regarding working hours and housing. The only thing that is not as described is the meal situation. Volunteers don't get food every day only on work days where they have shifts. Other then that everything was fine and I had a nice time

To clarify, the meal schedule is actually clearly described in the description. it states 'Basically, if you share your time with us to help out in our Bar & Restaurant, we provide accomodation and meals (During restaurant & Bar hours of operation) with a decent amount of free days to explore what the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage area has to offer.'

I stayed for a month and it was a fantastic experience. The work was very reasonable and within just a few days I felt like I'd been working there for years. Shout out to the team—Liarna, John, Nathan, Holly, Dan—who were kind, supportive, and fun to work with. While I was there, each volunteer had our own room, which was a plus, and the exchange was honored as outlined: 20hr/week plus meals and any extra work was paid at $30/hr. If the opportunity ever came up to return, I would do so in a heartbeat. It truly felt like a home away from home and I'm incredibly grateful for the hospitality. <3

It was my first Worldpackers experience, and it couldn't have been better! The Blue Mountains is such a stunning place, and the guest house team is super kind, helpful, and friendly. The accommodation is great and really close to the train station. I had an amazing time there!

I came here with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our stay, the room and kitchen were very nice and had a lot of space for cooking and hanging out. We live on the room above the guest house which made very easy to just go downstairs and walk or finish the day and just relax. The town is beautiful and there are a lot of hikes to do, with amazing views.

Our stay in the guest house was really nice. The kitchen team was the best part of our shifts. Leura and Katoomba are an amazing place to spend some weeks there, you have a lot of walks to do. Also, you have a private room and a good kitchen. 🙌🏼

I had a great experience at the guest house! Everyone was so welcoming and easy to get along with. I was able to extend my time because I was having so much fun! John is super kind and generous, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. The work was fair, food was amazing, and there was plenty of time off to enjoy the beautiful area. Accommodation was comfortable and it was great being able to hang out with other volunteers. I would definitely recommend staying at the guest house to anyone with hospitality experience.

I really enjoyed my time at the guest house. The staff are super friendly and encouraging. The accommodation is also very comfortable and you feel very well looked after. The location of the guest house is ideal for hiking and next to the train station so you can easily get to and from Sydney.

I really enjoyed my stay here!! The Blue Mountains are beautiful, there are a lot of hikes in the area. the guest house is close to the station so that is super convenient. the guest house is really nice, the food and drinks are amazing! I really enjoyed it! The accommodation is also pretty good. And the people are a lot of fun to work with and I really felt welcome here. Would 100/100 recommend this stay!!

This was my first experience through Worldpackers, and also my first solo trip so I was pretty nervous to see how it would go! I think it definitely took me a day to get used to but after that I completely loved this experience and felt right at home! All the staff are so welcoming and willing to help you and teach you new things. The housing is lovely and the location is beautiful!!! I would definitely recommend this experience especially if you enjoy working in hospitality and experiencing beautiful nature!! Thank you the guest house for a wonderful stay!!!
