The experience
We seek a dedicated and responsible individual to serve as a Volunteer Hostel Coordinator. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hostel by managing guest check-in, enhancing guest experience, overseeing housekeeping duties, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about hospitality and possess excellent communication skills.
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Tour Guide:
Organize and lead tours around the city.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate Croatian
Between 18 and 45 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Guest Experience:
Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests by offering assistance and resolving any issues or concerns.
Collect feedback from guests to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Guest Check-In:
Greet guests upon arrival and facilitate the check-in process efficiently.
Provide guests with information about the hostel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Housekeeping:
Check the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issue
Rules
Applicants must be allowed to legally stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the volunteering period.
