Volunteering at the farm was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was full of flavor and lots of love. Antonio always made sure I was well-fed and truly cared about my comfort, which meant so much to me. Even though I didn't speak the language, I always felt included in the daily activities. The atmosphere was warm and filled with kindness. It was the perfect place to clear my mind and reconnect with the simple joys of life. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there, and I already miss it deeply.Thank you for everything — I hope to return one day!

It was a great experience! The place is amazing, Antonio too! The work is easy, and you will have a lot of free time to explore the surroundings and meet the locals. The food is good and healthy. I will definitely come back❤️

Antonio has a special dedication to the volunteers, prepares lunches and dinners and is attentive to the needs of the volunteers. In the farm you will meet a lot of local people and you will learn about the culture of the village. Antonio and his friends make you feel part of the community instantly. If you don't have a car, you will need to coordinate your purchases beforehand as the site is within 6 km of the centre. A special greeting to Franco, guardian of the farm who allows me to learn a little more about the history of Sardinia with his stories.

The work load is very light mostly consisting of milking the goats and some other tasks. The food is really high quality with fresh ricotta and prosciutto every day. It is also a good opportunity to connect with the locals as you often visit the town.

I really would have loved to stay longer with Antonio. The place is beautiful, near a river, local visitors are often there and it is fun There is always protein (meat) in the food, but they respect it and make vegetarian dishes, and I thought that was great. The food and wine are really fabulous.Everything agreed upon was fulfilled, the animals are adorable and you learn about animals and cheese making. It's an experience I 100% recommend, and I hope to find more places like this in the future.

I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Antonio's farm, and from the very first moment, I felt like a part of the family. The work was demanding, but Antonio always checked in on us, making sure we were doing well and not too tired. His kindness and care made all the difference.A huge thank you to his wonderful friends and family—especially Pier Angelo, Serena, Giuseppe, Conte, and Franco—who were always there for me and made this experience even more special. Leaving Oliena is truly heartbreaking because it felt like home. Grazie mille Antonio🫶🏻

You cannot find a host more welcoming than Antonio! The farm, the people and everything about Huvile the farm is amazing. I would 100% recommend, you're completely immersed in local culture: learning about sardinian language, food and culture. The work itself isn't very hard and Antonio is super considerate and respectful of anyone's needs and boundaries. You need to be aware that you'll be living at the farm so it's a rural lifestyle and you have to want to get involved in the work otherwise it doesn't make sense to go there. The life here is simple but beautiful and unique.

The time at Antonio's farm was really nice. Even though we didn't speak a single word Italian/Sardinien everybody made us feel welcome. The food was really amazing and you can go on really nice hikes in the region. The work was also not hard at all.

This was such a special experience! The work was hard but there was a lot of time to rest and recover. We ate so well and learned so much about Sardinian history and culture! The language barrier made communication hard sometimes but it was so worth it. I will miss this place and all the people I met here. Thank you Antonio!

This was truly an amazing experience! Even though you're there to work Antonio truly makes you feel like you're a part of the family/community there. I was able to learn so much about farming and the local environment in Sardinia from the experience, I truly couldn't recommend it more. I would definitely say it's slightly less structured time/chore wise just because things on a farm are so dependent on the season and even day to day variables so I'd say being able to be flexible was one of the most important things that made adapting to the farm work easy!
