This farm was such a joy to experience. Antonio is kind, generous and very hospitable. The work mainly involved olive picking, as well as basic household duties. The olive picking was at times tiring, but we were immensely rewarded with traditional, home cooked and delicious meals. Antonio is a wonderful cook and despite the language barrier, was very open to teaching me some cooking skills too! Meeting the other volunteers was wonderful too. If you are hard working and enthusiastic for cultural enrichment, you will love this experience!

Antonio always makes sure that I feel like I'm at home there. They don't have such strict rules, and many things are done by myself. But I am very happy with the two French girls who are with me. We feed animals together, chop wood together, and go to parties together. We are very happy. Frank is also very hospitable and always cares if you need anything. In any case, I strongly recommend him, and if there is still a chance, I will go back.

La mia esperienza è stata molto bella: mi sono affezionata alle persone, agli animali e al posto, ideale per immergersi nella cultura sarda. Antonio è simpatico e grato, sa e fa tante cose. Avrei voluto vederlo di più all'ovile. Franco è accogliente e gentile, potrebbe chiacchierare per ore se non lo fermi! Le attività variano: cura degli animali, mungitura, orto, pulizie e cucina. Ho fatto formaggio, ricotta, tradotto e dipinto! Grazie per l'ospitalità, i pasti, i racconti della gente del posto, e i ricordi presiosi. Un abbraccio anche ad Alice, Anna, Milly Vanilly e Antonacci/Lilo. A presto!

It was my first worldpacker experience and I'm so happy I did it. Antonio was very welcoming and tried to make us feel at home. The food was a lot and very delicious.I met interesting people and I learnt a lot about sardinian culture by joining local feasts. The location is beautiful with mountain views and near a small river, but its remote and isolated and you cant go to the city whenever you want. But they tried to take us there as much as they could. Work hours are not long so you get a lot of free time. Work load depends on the day but always reasonable. Truly rural experience

Volunteering at the farm was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was full of flavor and lots of love. Antonio always made sure I was well-fed and truly cared about my comfort, which meant so much to me. Even though I didn't speak the language, I always felt included in the daily activities. The atmosphere was warm and filled with kindness. It was the perfect place to clear my mind and reconnect with the simple joys of life. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there, and I already miss it deeply.Thank you for everything — I hope to return one day!

Antonio has a special dedication to the volunteers, prepares lunches and dinners and is attentive to the needs of the volunteers. In the farm you will meet a lot of local people and you will learn about the culture of the village. Antonio and his friends make you feel part of the community instantly. If you don't have a car, you will need to coordinate your purchases beforehand as the site is within 6 km of the centre. A special greeting to Franco, guardian of the farm who allows me to learn a little more about the history of Sardinia with his stories.

The work load is very light mostly consisting of milking the goats and some other tasks. The food is really high quality with fresh ricotta and prosciutto every day. It is also a good opportunity to connect with the locals as you often visit the town.

I really would have loved to stay longer with Antonio.The place is beautiful, near a river, local visitors are often there and it is fun There is always protein (meat) in the food, but they respect it and make vegetarian dishes, and I thought that was great. The food and wine are really fabulous.Everything agreed upon was fulfilled, the animals are adorable and you learn about animals and cheese making. It's an experience I 100% recommend, and I hope to find more places like this in the future.

I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Antonio's farm, and from the very first moment, I felt like a part of the family. The work was demanding, but Antonio always checked in on us, making sure we were doing well and not too tired. His kindness and care made all the difference.A huge thank you to his wonderful friends and family—especially Pier Angelo, Serena, Giuseppe, Conte, and Franco—who were always there for me and made this experience even more special. Leaving Oliena is truly heartbreaking because it felt like home. Grazie mille Antonio🫶🏻
