The experience

Project Overview
At Fountain of Grace Rescue Centre, we believe that every girl deserves dignity, education, and equal opportunity—regardless of her menstrual cycle. That’s why we launched our Menstrual Management and Hygiene Empowerment Program, a community outreach initiative dedicated to breaking the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation.

Project Goals
Our goal is to empower young girls with knowledge, support, and essential menstrual.


What you offer

2 hours of help per day

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The donation helps volunteers and also support the projects.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English and Intermediate English

Between 20 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our projects starts 2pm to 4pm.
Mostly it takes place in community ( out door or out reach)
Volunteers will be staying in fountain of Grace rescue centre our centre .
The meal will be provided 3 times a day.
There is wifi and sim card data for outside activities .


Activities & Shift

Volunteer Shifts

We offer flexible shifts to accommodate different schedules. Volunteers can choose to commit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Shift Options:

Morning shift ( 11am to 12pm)

Helping in the centre.

Afternoon shift (2:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Community outreach and mentorship sessions.

School visits for menstrual hygiene education.

Childcare and rescue centre activities.

Evening shift ( 4 pm on going )

Feel free to help in the centre with school home work.

3 meals a day is provided .


Weekend .
Free day , feel free to explore the country you can do Safari's or anything you want to learn in Nairobi city town.
