Vu was a very good host. He took care of us during all our stay. He's very a happy and kind person. I would recomend staying with him.

Working with the children was amazing they ranged from 2 years old to 12 years old. I do think the organisation for what to teach them could be better, as sometimes it was a struggle. The children were very polite and eager to learn which was such a positive thing when teaching them. I stayed in vus spare apartment which was cosy to stay in for the month.

Volunteering at Vu's the school was definitely an enriching experience for me! Vu is a helpful and friendly person. During our free time, we did lots of things with him and he even invited us to his hometown. Most of the time, the work was fun. In total, I worked 15 hours. Keep in mind that you also need time to prepare your lessons. Sometimes, I felt like there was a lack of organization and structure because Vu placed new students in the classes who had completely different English levels than the others. Additionally, teaching a group of 8 toddlers was challenging. Phan Rang is a nice town!

The kids are lovely and easy to teach, tutoring at your home as well as the kindergarten. Vu is nice, easy going, and I felt at home in his house. He was kind enough to put me in touch with the last (non-WP) volunteer for my peace of mind when there were no reviews. The hosting style's very hands off - bear in mind if you're a first time volunteer and not comfortable figuring stuff out on your own. The only issue I had to raise was he went out of town for 4 of the 6 days of my stay so I was paying for my meals (advertised as free). Overall a good volunteer opportunity, thanks Vu!
