Although Nimi was very communicative, kind, funny, and helpful, especially getting me from the airport and being accommodating when I asked to leave early, I can't rate this any higher. The land is beautiful and the volunteers I met were incredible. However, after leaving I spoke to locals who told me that the project is something they do not support and are adamantly trying to stop. They expressed that the build was destroying flora and fauna and taking water from the waterfalls. This was hard for me to hear as I was hoping to be a part of something that was positively impacting Costa Rica.

Hey Isabella,
I’m Happy that you had a great time and thank you for the feedback.
About the people around that talked to you,
Few months ago someone published a video full of lies about our village and our activities. We invited the community to come and see it but only few came, so the people that talked to you never came to see the village and don't know what we are doing here actually.

Basically our activities this week were planting trees, harvesting the vegetables, moving the bees to a better place for them and creating systems to collect and drain rain water.

Our village is supporting sustainable living starting from the infrastructures continuing to each house and has the highest standards in the area.

I hope next time you hear a rumor you will go and check it.
Wish you the best. I had a great time with you here and you are more than welcome to come back. Just keep spread the love

I had an amazing experience during my stay atthethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village-thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village. My main goal was to get to know different cultures, people and learn different tasks. Unfortunately when I arrived Nimrod told me they needed help with the gardening, which it was bad because I wanted to help with the tasks I applied for, but I accepted it and face it as a good thing too. I loved all the activities (Capoeira, Yoga and Kung Fu) and the nature surrounded. Even though I had an amazing time there I wouldn't recommend this voluntering to people who are interested in sustainability field.

While staying at thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageI met lovely volunteers from all around the world. Our work was mostly done in the morning with the afternoon off. While the description suggests that thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villagealready exists, this is not the case. You are basically living with only a few people near you out in nature sleeping in a hut, which was not advertised that way. Also, we got to hear from the locals the day after we left the project, that they are not supporting the construction of thisthethe the ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village, because it is apparently not as sustainable as promised. Therefore, one should actually not support this.

Hey Anna,
I'm sorry that you feel that way. Even Though I got the impression you had a lot of fun during the farming activities, the yoga classes, the Capoeira, the kung fu and Friday night events.

About the Accommodation I was asking you every morning if you like it and
If you are sleeping well because we have more options and you told me that you loved it. I could have fixed it if you had told me otherwise.
About the amount of people, September and October are the lowest season in the area and there are only few people in the village and in the area in general. I decided to open in the low season as well only to share the knowledge.

Everyone in thethe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villagewas lovely and the project of creating athe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis amazing. Before coming here I thought it would be a little more developed yet but the project is still at its beginning. Which is not a bad thing, just be aware that there's always a lot of construction going on. I enjoyed learning about different kinds of plants and how to grow them. Sarai's Yoga classes were amazing and definitely a highlight for me. All in all it was a great experience to learn about sustainability and meet new people.

Nimi, Ariel and the others were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable during my time. Please know that thisthe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis not as developed as I expected, so ask before stay. Since I got there right before a holiday, the permaculture professional was not there for the majority of my 2 weeks there, something that I was not told beforehand, so I was disappointed about that. The food was plentiful when I first arrived, but that quickly diminished and we were left with basics, therefore sometimes difficult to make 3 well balanced meals. I would not be so critical if there was not a daily fee.
