Staying with Noreen was such a lovely experience! She went above and beyond, even taking me to traditional Irish singing circles and a class for Irish set dancing. Her home and the peaceful countryside were beautiful, and I loved spending time with Murphy (the cute dog)! The work was easy and flexible, and I had great chats with Noreen, who's so friendly and welcoming. A perfect mix of meaningful work, culture, and relaxation! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Irish hospitality.

Noreen is truly one of the nicest people I've met! The work is not hard at all, and it was really enjoyable to get outside and walk in the Irish countryside. Murphy (the dog) was one of the best parts. She is the sweetest dog that loves everyone. Noreen took me Irish dancing, Irish music listening and storytelling. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you so much, Noreen ❤️❤️❤️

I had a wonderful experience at Conlahn House. Noreen was a very welcoming host and made me feel at home from the beginning. During my stay, I learned new things, improved my English, and had the chance to join cultural activities that she kindly included us in. I truly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the opportunity to grow both personally and culturally. Highly recommended! Fue una grata experiencia, Murphy es una adorable perrita, muy recomendable, los fines de semana la señora nos llevaba a la estación de tren y puedes ir de paseo a Dublin.

My stay at the home exceeded all my expectations. The place is truly magnificent and peaceful — a perfect destination for those who want to be close to nature and learn more about Irish culture. Noreen is an amazing woman with great sense of humour, a kind heart and remarkable culinary skills — I enjoyed every meal. It was a pure pleasure to her her around the house. The tasks were simple and the workload was fair. We had plenty of time to explore the area by bikes — there lots of places to visit and trails to walk. The best workaction and volunteer experience I could dream of 🥰

My experience at the home has bene my first experience as a worldpacker and my first solo trip. I was a little bit scared at first, but everything changed when I saw the beauty of this place. Noreen was lovely to me and also I fell in love with her dog. The working hours are relaxed and flexible and Noreen always takes care to cook good food and share anecdotes about the local culture. I was lucky to attend to local talks in the library, so I had a full immersion in the irish coutryside. I loved my first experience!

Noreen is a lovely person. She helped me to improve my English. She also introduced me to Irish culture by taking me everywhere with her. So I learned to play Whist, learned to dance, went canoeing...) The house is in the countryside, but you have access to a bike to go to the nearest village. She is very accommodating, she can drop you off at the train station even in the middle of the week. During my stay I did a lot of gardening and DIY. I also discovered her adorable dog Murphy, whom I walked every day. I will miss her a lot, it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

Volunteering at the home was a great experience! Noreen, our host, is lovely and always available to help us. The house is a welcoming environment, and the work is well-divided, we helped with gardening and also cleaning inside the house. It's the perfect place to practice English and learn about Irish culture with Noreen. And Murphy, the dog, is adorable, we'll miss her so much! I highly recommend this experience, I loved it!

Noreen has welcomed us into her home as if we were part of her family; she is delightful. For personal reasons, Haizea and I have to leave, otherwise, we would be more than happy to stay here.
