My time at the home childcare was amazing. You get the opportunity to get to know the culture and real life in Chamazi. From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcome. Elina's reliable nature made communication easy and she is open for feedback and new ideas to improve things. Joseph, Eve, the teachers and the volunteers were great company. They made a big difference to my stay :). Everyone's warm, open and friendly nature made me feel at home there. The children are heartwarming, carefree and curious to learn new things. Working with them was incredibly amazing!

My experience was truly mind blowing and life changing. In Chamazi I learned about what real life is about and it's about love. Elina was an amazing host and she made us feel like home far away from our home. I don't have any words left only tears. I know love exist because these kids radiate it. I will miss their laughs, their songs and their smiles. I wish I could stay forever. Thank you Mama Alyjah, Elina and Joseph ❤️🫶🏻I've never felt so much love so much connection and so much life around me. Everyone is super kind and I had the best time in Chamazi. Asante sana ❤️🇹🇿🫶🏻 love you all

Wow. What an amazing time in Chamazi. Elina is an incredible, accommodating, and responsive host—easy to communicate with and open to any feedback from volunteers. Joseph was an amazing friend, teacher, driver, and guide throughout my stay. My experience would be very different without him. I also got to meet and build close relationships with six other volunteers, which made the experience even more special. Working at the school and connecting with the kids was truly life-changing. I was a bit anxious at first since I didn't know exactly what to expect, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Wow. I don't even know how to put the last 2 weeks into words. This program has been seriously life changing. From the hosts, Elina, Jovain and Joseph, to the teachers- Mama Alia and Madame Sabrina, all the volunteers I got to work with, and to all of the children we got the pleasure of teaching and hanging out with, I couldn't have ever imagined how much I would fall inlove with Chamazi Village. The connections I formed I will remember forever, it definitely won't be my only time visiting and volunteering at the home. I have loved every second of it and I truly feel it has changed my life.

Our experience at the home Childcare went perfectly. The family is lovely. The sleeping area is pleasant, as is the living room; we all feel good there. The children's school is perfectly adapted for their healthy development. They are truly fulfilled children, it's beautiful to see. The family cares about whether everything is going well and is there if needed. It's a superb experience, difficult to leave and forget it.

The volunteering experience was truly enriching and valuable. Jovin and Elina are always open to feedback, willing to accept advice and new ideas from volunteers, with the goal of continuously improving for the benefit of the school. Joseph, with his smile and great willingness became a true friend, eager to help you discover Tanzania through sincere and genuine eyes. The school project is truly meaningful and has a real impact on the lives of many children. The kids are sweet and affectionate. You'll also have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the local culture with Esta❤️ -Tozzy

My experience at the home Daycare has been awsome! Lina and Jovin are amazing hosts, they are very comunicative and ready to help at any time. Me and the other volunteer spent the majority of time with Jospeh who always checks up on you and is always willing to help you. In Chamazi I had the chance to completely immerse myself in the local culture. Here people are welcoming, loving and caring. You will spend most of the time with the kids at school. They have so much energy and willingness to learn new things. I will never forget all the moments spent with all the special people I met there❤

My friend and I stayed with Elina's family for just over three weeks and it was an amazing experience. We spent time with locals, learned about their culture, and felt part of everyday life in Tanzania. Life was super chill—classes in the morning and afternoon with time to relax in between. The food was fresh and tasty, and Elina, Jovin, and Joseph were so welcoming, helping us with trips and making us feel safe. The kids stole my heart, and I admire Elina so much for starting her school and giving them such valuable opportunities.

What made the biggest impression on me were the people. Elina, Joseph and the local community were extremely welcoming, always ready to share their culture. It was really interesting! The children were so friendly and full of energy, and we had a lot of fun. I felt included, especially through the food, daily routines and I even learned some swahili along the way. Life there was simple, but I adapted quickly and enjoyed living more like the locals. It was an eye-opening cultural exchange where I got to see life from a different perspective. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Staying with Elina and Joseph was a truly meaningful experience. They were so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. From arranging a safari, to supporting us when plans changed. I loved immersing myself in the local culture and even learning some Swahili. The first days were a bit of a culture shock and the accommodation was simple, but that only made the experience more authentic. Overall, it was a eye-opening, valuable, and very memorable experience. The kids and people in Chamazi village will always have a special place in my heart.
