The guest house is a beautiful and magical place. I felt so much light and love during my stay, so much that I ended up staying longer than originally planned and I'm so grateful for that. The volunteer work was very chill, and for me it felt like cleaning and taking care of my own home. There was a lot of freedom for creativity and expressing myself. I spent a lot of time baking, cooking and drawing/painting at Casa. I felt welcomed and accepted just the way I am. Thank you for this place and especially the people who made my two months this beautiful<3

I had an amazing experience at the guest house! Gaby and Santo created a lovely environment with the guests and the volunteers! This place feels like a home away from home! The job is easy, the hours are respected and Catania is just beautiful! Fully recommend❤️

My time at the guest house was so good that I had to extend my stay. One month just isn't enough here, it feels like a family. I felt comfortable and welcome from day one. Santo and Gaby are incredible managers, always up to help. The tasks are simple, and since the place feels like home, you end up working with a lot of love. the guest house exceeded my expectations, everything they say the volunteer experience offers is true, and even more. Having 3 days off gives you plenty of time to explore Sicily. t's been an amazing experience, and even better that I get to stay another month jajajaja

I had a beautiful month in the guest house, the atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for connecting with other travelers but also having your own time. The house is magic, full of energy, filled with love and little details. I really enjoyed going to the market, the outdoor cinema around the corner or just soaking in the Sicilian culture. I think every traveler should stop by the guest house at least once 🌿 Super grateful for this experience, thanks to Santo, Gabi and the best volunteers 🤍

Volunteering here is something I really recommend, as it gives you deep connections with people around you, great possibilities to explore the city and chance to meet new people daily. The work is fair and this place focuses on community, where as we help each other and share things! I would love to come back in the future 🌞

CasaVerdi is truly just as the reviews say: a place of peace and joy, filled with loving and delightful people. It allows you to experience deep connections, even if brief, and feels like a home for travelers visiting Catania. The team is amazing, the work is fair and relaxed, and the food is fresh and plentiful. I loved my days there and felt like they could have lasted much longer. I want to return to reunite with the friends I made there. And oh, Catania is a fascinating city.

This was my first volunteering experience, and it couldn't have been better. The work is pleasant, and the communication regarding tasks is efficient. The shift schedules are respected, and we have plenty of free time to explore the city and nearby towns. I met wonderful people who gave a special purpose to my trip. Santo and Gaby, thank you so much for the opportunity. I already miss it so much. And of course, I will miss Eva dearly. Grazie mille per tutto! 🤍

My experience at the guest house was simply unforgettable! I spent an amazing month in a cozy hostel that truly makes you feel at home, as if we were all part of one big family. The room was comfortable, the environment charming, organized, and full of good energy. The work was also very relaxed :) I will always cherish the mornings at the markets and the evenings when we gathered to bake cookies and cakes. Those were special moments that will stay in my heart forever. A special thank you to Santo, Gabi, and Eva, who welcomed me with so much warmth. I recommend it 100% 🩷

I spent two wonderful weeks in the guest house.🪴 I wish I could have stayed longer because it truly became a home for me. As all the other volunteers and guests say, as soon as you enter this place you are surounded by wonderful energy. It is almost magical!✨️ The work was easy and relaxing as it was not in the super busy months and it made so much fun to greet new guests. I collected a lot of stories!!! And I made wonderful friendships🧜‍♀️ Thank you Gabi and Santo for sharing this experience with me!!! The trip to Etna was amazing... and thanks Eva for waking us up always on time:) See u

I'm so grateful for the time I spent at the guest house, the environment is so warm and cozy that I felt part of a family. I even extended my stay several weeks bc once you arrive in the guest house it's so difficult to leave! The work was light especially since it was off season and Gaby is a wonderful manager who communicates really well. The hostel is also close to one of the coolest open markets I've been too, I got to eat fresh fruits and veggies every day plus upgrade my wardrobe for so cheap! can't recommend this place enough :)
