CasaVerdi is truly just as the reviews say: a place of peace and joy, filled with loving and delightful people. It allows you to experience deep connections, even if brief, and feels like a home for travelers visiting Catania. The team is amazing, the work is fair and relaxed, and the food is fresh and plentiful. I loved my days there and felt like they could have lasted much longer. I want to return to reunite with the friends I made there. And oh, Catania is a fascinating city.

This was my first volunteering experience, and it couldn’t have been better. The work is pleasant, and the communication regarding tasks is efficient. The shift schedules are respected, and we have plenty of free time to explore the city and nearby towns. I met wonderful people who gave a special purpose to my trip. Santo and Gaby, thank you so much for the opportunity. I already miss it so much. And of course, I will miss Eva dearly.

My experience at Casa Verdi was simply unforgettable! I spent an amazing month in a cozy hostel that truly makes you feel at home, as if we were all part of one big family. The room was comfortable, the environment charming, organized, and full of good energy. The work was also very relaxed :)
I will always cherish the mornings at the markets and the evenings when we gathered to bake cookies and cakes. Those were special moments that will stay in my heart forever.
A special thank you to Santo, Gabi, and Eva, who welcomed me with so much warmth. I recommend it 100% 🩷

Santos y Gabriela hicieron de mi estadía la mejor. El espacio, las tareas, la comida, todo me hizo sentir cómoda.
Tuve compañeras muy amistosas.
Me voy porque sigo viajando. Pero es un lugar para quedarse mucho más tiempo.
Ha sido un mes maravilloso, me sentí en casa.

Mi experiencia en Casa Verdi fue maravillosa. Me sentí bienvenida en un ambiente cálido y acogedor. El hostel tiene una energía especial, la gente es amable, cariñosa y muy buena onda. Las tareas fueron sencillas y los horarios de trabajo se respetaron perfectamente. Pude disfrutar del lugar y conectar tanto con locales como con viajeros de distintas partes del mundo. Cada día fue una oportunidad para aprender y vivir momentos inolvidables. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora y divertida, un voluntariado que recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera conocer Catania de una manera auténtica y especial ❤️
