Help needed for busy Cycling Guest House

I absolutely 10/10 recommend this experience! I learned so much and had a lot of fun. The tasks are not difficult: prepping food/cooking, cleaning up after meals, setting up bedrooms for guests, etc. The hours are about 9-12:30 then 6-whenever dinner ends every day. I loved having a break in the middle of the day to read, swim, go on walks in the area, etc. My favorite part was learning a lot about cooking (Sam is the best cook!!) and the food is fantastic. Sam and James made me feel welcomed and included as if I was family. Thank you for the best experience! ❤️

I don't have words to describe how good was the experience. I felt like home since the day 01, like part of the family. That's the main difference of all volunteering places I've been from this one. It feels like you're helping at home, it doesn't even feel like a job. So I highly recommend and if you're into cooking this is the right place

I had the most wonderful experience in the guest house! Sam and James are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts. I felt immediately part of their family and part of the holiday experience for their guests. I was learning everyday in the kitchen with Sam, leaving the experience with so many cooking and baking skills. My key tasks were easy to complete and explained to me, yet each day was varied with something new to learn and do. The countryside around their home is stunning and I had time each day to explore on foot, by bike or by going to local markets with Sam. Thank you, I can't wait to return!!

Five stars really aren't enough to rate the experience at Corezze the guest house! Sam, James and Noodle welcome you into their magnificent home and make you feel like part of the family. The tasks are fun and diverse in exchange for everything and more! Some of the things I got up to included planting flowers and veg, preparing guest rooms, serving dinner and looking after the three hens! Sam and James are extremely passionate about what they do and I guarantee you will learn something new every single day! I am so grateful for everything and would return in a heartbeat, THANK YOU!

This kind of experience hit in a very different way, it,s about human beings connected to each other deeply. This experience allowed me to work on myself in a safe and welcoming environment, surrounded by nature. Sam is an exceptional woman, cultured and caring, always ready to dispense useful advices. James is a practical, kind and hardworking man, his passion it's an inspiration. The work has always been a pleasure, it has allowed me to learn the background of this type of job. I will always be grateful to this family for teaching me so much by simply being themselves. Thank you, Andrea.

James and Sam deserve every one of their five stars for a truly memorable three weeks. When working, the morning tasks lasted around 2-3 hours, and mainly included washing up and watering the veg patch. I had time off after lunch and then was ready to help with the dinner service from 6pm. The food here is a huge highlight. Sam is a professional chef, and every night I ate restaurant quality food. The scenery around the area is simply breathtaking. I saw my first red squirrel and wild deer. I didn't cycle, but James has years of experience and clear passion. An amazing experience.

Where to start...? This was my very first volunteering experience and it was the best decision I've made. the guest house is a real paradise (and I am from France!...). This family is one of the most welcoming I have ever met. Their premises are some of the most charming, clean and welcoming that you can imagine. The tasks are numerous and diverse, fun and not boring at all, and flexibility is totally possible! I have been taken to tons of different places (walks, car, bicycle...) as if I was a new family member. Samantha, James and William will definitely remain in my heart forever!! (^_^)

Great experience, the best! Nicest people, so kind and wonderful. Luxurious accommodations and INCREDIBLY good meals. Fabulous dinners with wine. Yummy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea with cake! Many fun trips exploring the area. Sam took me to village markets, medieval towns & treated me to local foods. I learned lots about French history, culture & cuisine. And top-level cooking lessons! Sam and James are warm and generous; there is much laughter & good music. The work is very reasonable and fair. I would return in a heartbeat — it doesn't get better than this. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

My month in the guest house was simply amazing! I truly felt like I was part of the family. Most of the work didn't even feel like work because I was learning so much and meeting so many people. Sam's always making sure to keep us entertained and really (really!) well-fed. I also got to visit so many places around us, truly hidden gems. Hope to come back soon!

Sam and James received Rudá and I as an exception (the job can be done by one person) and even more because I'm vegan and it made Sam's life harder to think about what the guests and I could eat at dinner, but she always cooked the best food for all of us! The tasks included gardening, housekeeping and learning chopping and folding skills for life haha Also, they took us to see the wonderful view from the top of Dordogne Valley and to walk around the city, it was lovely! I LOVED spending 3 weeks there, I didn't want to leave but we're meeting again for sure! Recommend it!
