Beautiful Guest House needs help with garden maintenance in NZ

Amanda picked me up from the bus station with a very warm welcome. The first evening I spent my time getting to know the other volunteers and having a look around. the guest house are a paradise of nature peace and calmness. I slept in a very cozy big room with a fireplace. The work was partially housekeeping tasked in doors and a few different tasks outside in the guest house. Amanda and Less made me feel very welcome and at home. I felt comfortable to ask any question I had on my mind and I got help and support from them. It was a lovely experience and I enjoyed it a lot.

The guest house is so enchanting...If you need some time to relax and breath a fresh air this place is for you. Amanda and Liz were an amazing hosts and the homecook meals were absolutely a delight. You will be doing housekeeping, gardening and other tasks like painting ( depends what is needed in the garden)you must be flexible to fit in . It would be nice if the schedule will be given in advance like start/end time of work , time for morning/afternoon break and lunch time so it will be clear for both parties. The garden is 15/20'min drive from the city. Thank you the guest house!

Kristine is pleasant to work with and can be recommended. Unfortunately she did not have the correct clothes and footwear for the cold weather.

El ambiente natural es inmejorable, una fantasía en la que quisieras perderte cómo en un cuento de hadas. El trabajo para sostener aquello es fuerte, lleno de aprendizajes, contrasta con la belleza por las exigencias propias de un Guesthouse de primer nivel. Llegas a conocer todas las implicancias personales, sociales, medioambientales. Ves y vives el esfuerzo puesto en mantener un espacio al alcance de huéspedes que valoran a su manera el paraíso natural que TePopo. Los anfitriones no se dan descanso y retribuyen con cordialidad y buena atención la ayuda que se les brinda en esa tarea buena!
