If you habe the chance to go and help Amanda and Les, just do it. The place is incredible, massive space fill with nature. The hosts are the most caring and welcoming humans you could meet in the Taranaki region. the guest house is an amazing place, ridiculously beautiful and peaceful. You will really feel at home, but improved. Super mega tasty food made with love everyday. Nourishing conversations and a grate chance to immerse in nature. Thank you so much!!!! I will always remember my time there 💖💖😘

I had a wonderful time at the guest house! Amanda and Les are kind and welcoming hosts. Their food is delicious and the guest house is very comfortable. I've felt right at home here. The surrounding area is beautiful and a great place to connect with nature. The work is always reasonable and not difficult. I highly recommend this opportunity!

I had an amazing time at the popos Guesthouse! Amanda and Less are very welcoming and they really adhere to the agreement made on the app (working hours,food, accomondation, etc.). The two of them also try to include you in their private life for exmaple with eating together or taking you with them to a trip to the city.

Stayed with Amanda and Les in a beautiful & magnificent country estate in the Taranaki region of New Zealand. The couple welcomed me with open arms. They're very nice, genuine, accessible and very accommodating. There's nothing to complain about. I learned a great deal from them about garden maintenance, home improvement and; most importantly about life in general. I highly recommend the guest house & the couple who owned it. It's a rare privilege to meet Amanda and Les. Come to the guest house & experience heaven on earth.

Amanda is a lovely person and I enjoyed spending time with her! The room I stayed in was super nice, the surrounding land is great, and the food was delicious. Working hours were respected, however the advertised garden work was almost non existent for me. I mainly did housekeeping for the bed and breakfast. My boyfriend, who worked on the yard, and I asked to alternate roles, however we didn't see any changes happening and decided to leave early. Additionally, the business didn't align with my goals of working on sustainable projects. This place wasn't for me but could be great for others!

Amanda was very sweet and a welcoming host. The accommodation was nice, especially having your own space. The work was not difficult and expectations/directions were clear. However, this experience was not the right fit for me or my partner. Their was a clear gendered division of labor which we requested multiple times to alternate between so all the tasks would be accomplished and we both could have opportunities outside and housekeeping. These requests were not acted upon. Additionally, I thought the business did not act in a sustainable way. Unfortunately, I left the experience early.

Incredible! Amanda and Les are the loveliest couple - they are both so welcoming, kind and caring. the guest house are amazing and I learnt so much about gardening and the management of the business ❤️

My experience in the guest house & Accomondation was more than great. Amanda and Les are just a lovely couple and great to work and live with. I like that the work was different everyday and learned much about gardening. The rooms are also very beautiful, I really enjoyed staying there. Just the nature and the garden itself is gorgeous so all in all a great experience, can absolutely recommend it!
