The experience

We have a 34 acre Woodlands garden, which need to be maintained and looked after. We are the biggest privately own garden in Taranaki. We are open to the public. We are in the process to complete our camp ground. And also have Accommodation and a coffee shop.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our accommodation is of a high standard. Depending on the situation, there is a shared apartment or a private room.

Activities & Shift

5 hours a day, 5 days a week. 2 days off.

Rules

We expect volunteers to adhere to the household rules. Accommodation and kitchen need to be kept clean on a daily basis. No exceptions. You get it clean, you keep it clean.
