This was my first time volunteering in a hostel and I had a really great time!! The managers Elie and Dani were really nice and they were very keen to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The work ist also very chill and fun so I would definitely recommend staying at pineapples :))

My experience at the guest house was fantastic. The vibe was very friendly, and the organization by Eli and Dani, was excellent. They are wonderfulr people who gave us more free time so all the volunteers could hang out and make plans together—a really nice detail! Had the most amazing month at the guest house. Over the course of the month I made so many new friends with people all over the world. Highly recommend if you're keen to surf, relax, and meet new people. As far as managers go they don't get any better than Dani and Eli. I saw them more as just my good friends. They were always there to support/help out whenever there were any issues too. If you wanna have an unforgettable volunteering experience, go to the guest house! 🍍🍍❤️

Literally a home away from home home. Must say this was my first volunteer experience and I was nervous before I arrived. Literally as soon as I arrived I had the best time hanging with other guests and volunteers. The hosts: Eli and Dani are absolutely second to none and are the kindest and most support people you'll ever meet. Exporing the surrounding areas and having a flexible schedule to go and do weekends away in other cities is also very easy to do while volunteering here. Such an amazing experience! It was very hard to leave once my time was up

The guest house Surfhouse was my first experience as a volunteer and I am so glad that applied for this place. Eli and Daniela are so amazing, they are super chill, do activitys with all of the volunteers and if you have something you can always count on them. I met a lot of different people from all over the world. The Volunteers and some guests can really become your friends from different parts of the world. The work is super easy and as communicated. I experienced a lot of beautiful days, for this I am very grateful! Thank you the guest house Team, maybe we will see us again!

My experience at Pineapples was incredibly enriching. I was warmly welcomed by Elie and Dani, who are helpful, friendly, cheerful, and genuine people. I hope to return soon because it was one of the best volunteer experiences I've ever had. The work is very simple and can be done quickly. Dani does an excellent job organizing the work schedule, making sure we have plenty of free time. I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you very much for the experience ❤️

Eli and Daniela are two of the nicest people that you will ever meet. They look after the volunteers so well and treat you like family. This created a great vibe in the house and made all the volunteers feel valued and helped us have an amazing experience. The short shifts allowed plenty of time for surfing, cycling and spending time with the awesome volunteers and guests of the guest house. Would love to come back one day.

The guest house is the most incredible place to volunteer. Elie and Daniela are some of the most kind, welcoming and generous people I've met, they made my first volunteering experience an absolute pleasure. The work is easy and hours are perfect, you can spend every day doing other activities if you organise around your shift so there's plenty of time for surfing, exploring and socialising. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This was my first volunteer place with Worldpackers. The experience was worth it and I had a really great time! Eli and Daniela are very caring and supportive! I loved my time here and it felt like home. The work conditions were very fair and if we had questions or concerns or something else, you could always contact them and they found a solution. They really cared about our wellbeing. Would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely come back! 🫶🏻

I spent a month at the guest house and it was my first volunteer experience. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I got along very well with the other volunteers and the hosts, who were always available and kind to me. The hostel is located near Peniche and is an excellent area to learn to surf - if, like in my case, you are a beginner - or even just to unplug from real life and enjoy sunsets over the ocean with travellers from all over the world. The shifts were very simple and the amount of work was never too much, so that even those four hours could be spent as best as possible.
