Volunteering at the guest house was an amazing experience! Great people, positive vibes, and a perfect balance between work and free time. Eli and Henrique are the best hosts, super kind, fun and always supportive. I learned a lot and felt truly welcomed from day one. Totally recommended for anyone looking for a fun and meaningful adventure near the beach!

Staying at the guest house hostel was an absolute blast, Henrique is a legend when it comes to being a leader of the volunteers and flexibility when your just screaming for a surf ha ha ha Being able to completely relax and wind down from the busy life we all have, nothing says relaxing right near the beach with a groovy location like the guest house Couldn't of had a better month in peniche with a bunch great people

Fue una experiencia super buena, me recibieron muy bien, me enseñaron a hacer mis tareas y luego ya era parte de la pequeña familia. Mi estadía fue tan gratificante que la alargue. Siempre existió buena disposición si necesitaba algo y a la integración con los otros voluntarios y los huéspedes. Peniche es un lugar pequeñito, pero tiene lindos lugares para recorrer y también puedes hacer escapadas diarias como a Lisboa, Cascáis, Nazaré, Ovidos entre otros.. Lo recomiendo mucho :)

My time at the guest house Surfhouse was just incredible! The working hours were super fair, and there were always other volunteers around, so you're constantly in good company. The house has everything you could possibly need: yoga mats, skateboards, a balance board, lots of games, and bikes you can use anytime. Everything is very well organized and managed, and I had enough time to go surfing every day — sometimes even twice! I originally planned to stay shorter, but I ended up extending my time by more than a month because I loved it so much. I can highly recommend this place!

Mi experiencia en el Pinneaple fue increíble. Eli y Dani hacen todo para que te sientas en casa, y el ambiente del hostel es muy tranquilo y divertido. Mientras estuve se armó un grupo muy lindo de voluntarios junto con las manager en el que compartimos comidas, salidas y playa. Sin dudas muchos recuerdos y personas con las que voy a seguir siendo amigos. Está ubicado a 10 minutos a pie de la playa Supertubos y para manejarte por la zona podés usar las bicis del hostel. Las tareas si las sabes llevar y colaboras, no son para nada exigentes. El Hostel está equipado con todo para tu estadía.

Minha experiência no the guest house foi muito legal. Os voluntários realizam todo o operacional da guest house o que é legal se a sua turma for colaborativa e comprometida, mas caso haja voluntários que não colaboram aí acaba sobrecarregando quem tenta fazer as coisas direito. Os voluntários ficam nas mesmas instalações que os hóspedes do dorm. Isso é ótimo pois são adequadas, mas quando há hóspedes que causam desconforto não há como confronta-los a seguir regras etc. Para conseguir pranchas e wetsuit tem que alugar em outros lugares. Mercados, bares, etc ficam a 20 min de bike ou 10 min uber.

I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend at Pineapples! I felt so comfortable and at home from the very first day. The atmosphere in the house was always warm and harmonious – both with the other volunteers and the guests🫶 Daniela and Eli are the best managers you could ever ask for!! Always there when you need them, super supportive and they genuinely care about making sure everyone is doing well and enjoying their time. The beach is around the corner and Peniche with its beautiful nature is such a special place🌞 I already miss Pineapples and would love to come back one day🍍💛

I truly recommend volunteering at the guest house. It was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have started in a better place. I felt incredibly welcomed and shared amazing moments with the staff. The hostel is taken care of by Eli and Dani, two incredible women who make everything happen! They are always kind, attentive, and helpful. The place is surrounded by nature, close to the beach, and you can always grab a bike to explore the city or other beautiful natural spots.

My time at the guest house was amazing! I arrived during the low season, so it was very quiet (this is probably very different in the high season). I felt immediatly very welcomed by Eli and Daniela. They make sure you feel comfortable and if you need help they are there for you. Although the house was not very busy, we did a lot of activities together with the group of volunteers and with Eli. The work was very easy and you have a lot of time to explore the beautiful surroundings in Peniche. I have definitely fallen in love with the place and hope to come back!
