Come volunteer with us in WOT Sintra Ocean on the beach and enjoy the daily life on the relaxing Portuguese coast !

25 hours a week with 2 days off, plenty of time left to enjoy the amazing landscapes and cultural heritage (castles, monuments, historical center...)

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Portuguese

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Portugal

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

WOT's the job ?

Helping our housekeeping team with their daily tasks : making beds, cleaning rooms or other areas, and making our Hotel a comfortable place for our guests.

WOT's life like ?

Come living the relaxing life on the Portuguese coast, enjoying the beach, surfing, the breathtaking sunsets... (and more that you will soon discover !)

20min from the charming city center of Sintra and its endless historical patrimony
30min from the famous Cascais with its Marina, chic city center and its beaches
1hour from Lisboa, our beautiful capital city with its incredible heritage that you can discover through its authentic narrow streets

WOT a bonus !
You can use our equipped kitchen, our laundry machine +dryer and on top of that : our electric bikes !

Activities & Shift

25hours a week with 2 days off : your daily missions will take barely 5 hours.
Here are the shifts :
- Helping our Housekeeping crew (making beds, cleaning, etc) : 10:00 - 15:00
- Organizing the Breakfast for our guests : 7:30 - 12:30
- Bartending in our WOT Bar : 18:00 - 23:00

Rules

WOT about some rules ?
We kindly ask you to respect our guests as well as your colleagues (staff members and other volunteers) and you will also have to follow the same hotel rules as the guests.
We work hard to maintain a respectful and positive environment for everyone :)
