This was my first experience as a volunteer, and I spent very nice time here. I was welcomed warm by everyone in the hotel, they accepted as part of the team very soon. The stuff has lovely, energetic and supportive people so I am thankful for all of them that they made my stay enjoyable. We had a lot of fun during work and in free time too. Most of the times we finished earlier and had plenty of free time to relax, go to the beach or even do shorter trips. the hotel has a beautiful natural area with many sights to explore and public transportstion is easily accessible.

My experience in the hotel was very nice :) The best part was meeting the amazing people that work there. They are very welcoming, supportive and warm, and I will miss them a lot. Yes, it is true that there are probably some things to improve, but it it's also true that they are very open to talk about any matter or inconvenience and they do their best to solve it. Thank you guys for giving me this amazing experience and, if you are a traveller, don't hesitate to go there ❤️.

I don't think they are ready to welcome volunteers. There is nothing for us. You will stay in a garage (there was mold above my bed) and the boss changed the rules during my stay; we couldn't eat in the guests commun areas anymore, we had to eat in the garage (which is shared with a restaurant, and you will eat between the laundry and the shower). Moreover, they changed what was written on WorldPackers as we couldn't use the bike as promised. However, the hotel is on the beach and the team is really nice except that the manager has no time to take care of you. Also, be ready to work hard :)

Accommodation: The accommodation provided for our volunteers is simple but functional. We are aware of the mold issue, although it was not brought to our attention during your stay. We have taken steps to address it.

Rules and Common Areas: The changes in rules were necessary to ensure the best possible experience for all our guests and volunteers. We understand that this may have caused some inconvenience, but we always strive to balance everyone's needs.

Bicycle Use: Indeed, there was an update on the conditions described on WorldPackers. This was done to better reflect our current availability and ensure transparency with future volunteers.

Workload: We strive to maintain a fair and pleasant work environment. Regarding the incident where you felt unwell and were allowed to leave early but were then seen surfing, it is important for us to maintain trust and goodwill in our relationships.

Despite these challenges, we are pleased to know that you appreciated the location and our team. We remain committed to improving our services and hope that in a future opportunity we can provide a better experience.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 weeks and it wasn't what I expected. The place is really quite and I arrived as the only volunteer. The accommodation for the volunteers was in a basement and generally not good. During my stay the boss made a new rule, that nobody is allowed to eat upstairs in the common area of the hotel. Also in the beginning there was one bike the volunteers and people working there could use, however later that was not possible anymore. The people I met there, made the stay still enjoyable and fun. However I think this Hotel is not really a good place for volunteers.

O hotel é muito bonito, super confortável e localizado em frente à praia, o lugar é tranquilo com muitos estrangeiros, você tem praias próximas para surfar e muitas outras atividades para fazer. A equipe de trabalho é ótima, eles são todos super amorosos e amigáveis, e o trabalho é tranquilo. Recomendo-o muito!!!

O voluntariado foi uma experiência muito boa. Foi a minha primeira vez em Portugal e todos os funcionários fizeram-me sentir confortável. O Hotel está localizado em frente à praia e oferece um extenso buffet de café da manhã. Recomendo esse voluntariado para pessoas que buscam tranquilidade pois o Hotel é remoto e não tem muitas opções de convívio.
