Program Details
We are a local family, we live on an island in the Mekong River, surrounded by peanut and rice fields, buffalos, cows, and goats. The days here are slow and peaceful, such as the Lao rhythm of being. In addition to the guest house, I have a project to teach English to local children that works right in my backyard. We open our home to you and only hope that you come with an open heart.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers can help us in farm activities (rice and peanut), buffalo care, watering the garden, and English classes for local children.
In general, activities on the farm are carried out in the morning, and English classes in the afternoon, but other times can be agreed upon depending on the demands of the day and the availability of the volunteer.
