I stayed here for a little over a month and I had a lot of great experience here! the school (Brian) is very nice and helpful host, he is always ready to help and share his knowledge. Volunteering hours are very flexible and gives you opportunity to manage your own schedule. I had a lot of fun going out with students for coffee, dinners and even cinema! It's a great opportunity to share your life experience and knowledge with local people. Definitely recommend!

Brian is a great guy and a fabulous host, the living situation could use some tidying up but that's part of the experience and wasn't a problem for me, just something for future volunteers to know, but anything you need accommodated for communicate to him and I'm sure he will acknowledge it. Brian offers a unique experience here to teach English and get immersed in local culture in a non touristy area with some truly amazing locals and fellow travelers, would definitely recommend!

I spent two weeks at the school and would come back in a heartbeat! At first, I wasn't sure what to expect as it felt a bit disorganized, and I wasn't sure where I fit in. But within a day, I settled into the laid-back atmosphere and fully embraced it. The students were incredible—not just eager to learn, but also so fun to talk to and learn from. Beyond teaching, I made real connections over coffee, exploring the neighborhood, and sharing stories. Most of all, the school was always full of positivity, making every moment a joy. I'm so grateful for my time here and will definitely miss it!

I spend 10 days at Skyhome. the school and Khai are really nice and even if they were busy, they tried their best to help me anytime I needed and show me around town. However, I would recommand to come with friend or with other volunteer, i was a bit lonely when everybody was working. The student are lovely. The job is pretty easy and the schedule can be flexible if needed. The only down fall would be the accommodation, a couple of thing need to be fixed (no hot shower 😭), not really clean and it is a bit far from the center (but you can take cheap buses to go).

Stayed for 9 days and i wish i could've stayed more! From the first hour i felt home everyone was so welcome and social and helpful in every aspect! The schedule was really flexible and whatever you ask they won't be annoyed and will do anything to help you! the school is an amazing person especially when you get to know him and Khai was one of the friendliest people i met! And Faustine which was another volunteer was super fun and friendly and just made the experience complete! Both classes the kids and adults are both fun to experience and teach.

Everything is was as i was expected, given that this is my 2nd time volunteering thru WP. Though communication of the host could be very much improved, the overall experience is well preserved

I liked staying in the school. The energy was great and people were very caring and helpful. The location of the place is very good and food and people around and students are awesome. I missed the structure in classes and schedule. But i really loved the students and i spending time with them. I think here you will experience true Viet Nam because everyone is very opened to showing how it is!

I had a great time during my stay in Ho Chi Minh in the school. the school is so lovely and welcoming, always doing his best for you to be as confortable as possible. I also met amazing volunteers which made my experience even better. The place is a bit far from the city center but it's not such a big deal if you have a motocycle. However, don't expect to connect with local people except the school, as most of the people staying there are foreigners. I overall recommend this place for a short stay in HCMC :)

I spent almost 3 weeks at the school and it was a lovely time :) I had no real teaching expirience before so this was a great opportunity to try! the school and the crew are really kind and welcoming, same as the students that you'll meet in different groups you teach. The expirience gives you a lot of flexibility as the classes are either in the morning or evening which leaves the rest of the day free and if needed schedule can be rearranged in case you need full free day. I got in touch with locals, understood better the culture and just had some great time with people creating the place!

I loved connecting with fellow travelers to engaging with the amazing students, every moment was enriching and memorable. I had the opportunity to learn as much from them as they did from me. There are a few areas that could be enhanced for future volunteers 1. Update the pictures to the pictures of the actual homestay, not the old one. 2. Daily breakfast wasn't provided as said in the description. Communication could be more affective as I once got locked out and had to look for alternative accommodation for the night. And major improvements on cleanness and sanitation of the homestay🫶🏾
