I had such a wonderful time volunteering in Bled, I would absolutely recommend this experience to others. Bled and the surrounding area is so beautiful and there is so much to do, it's such a magical place. Miha is a generous host and manages the hostel very well, he is dedicated to making his hostel great for all. You get to meet and connect with people from all over the world and create great friendships with the other volunteers because you are spending so much time together. I really treasure this experience and all the people I met while volunteering.

Great hostel in one of the most stunning locations in the world. Miha was a great boss and was very committed to keeping everything running smoothly. The other volunteers were all lovely and made the stay amazing. The amount of hikes and place's to explore is endless if you love nature, extremely good accessibility with many buses running all the time to different locations. There was always social stuff going on with a nice relaxed vibe!

My experience at the hostel was incredible. Everything is very organized as Miha makes everything very well explained. The hostel is carefully managed by him. The hostel is awesome, Bled is amazing and definitely recommend it!

This was my first volunteer experience and would definitely recommend the hostel and Lake Bled to any traveler! I spent a month here and could have spent even longer and never run out of things to do. The workload as a volunteer is a bit more than I expected depending on what shift you are assigned, but it never went over the agreed 25hrs. Miha, the host, runs a tight ship and expects things to be done with care but in result the hostel is one of the cleanest/best hostels I've stayed at. I made great friends with the other volunteers and overall had a positive experience.

Would recommend as a first time volunteer or anyone! The host Miha is passionate about the hostel and very accommodating. It's a really cozy place with chill people and well organized. I learned a lot about the behind the scenes of a hostel. Very good way to immerse yourself in the Slovenia culture. :)

Absolutely loved this experience! I was immediately welcomed by the other staff. Miha was accommodating and willing to talk about any issues that arose. I was here for 5 weeks and never got tired of bled or the surrounding areas. Always had a blast with every activity I did whether it be hiking, swimming, or canyoning. Tasks are not too hard. The level of work varies from day to day and depends on what shift you have. Even with other volunteers coming and going it's easy to form connections because you spend a lot of time together. Thank you to all who were apart of my the hostel experience!

My first volunteer experience, my first time out of North America, and I don't think I could've picked a better spot if I tried! Bled is so beautiful everywhere you look and it was the perfect place to explore with SO many different activities. I made amazing friends at the hostel, both guests and fellow volunteers. The work isn't difficult, but can be a little stressful at times as attention to detail is very important to Miha. But Miha was extremely welcoming and did everything he could to make our experience memorable. I'll never forget my time in Bled❤️❤️

Absolutely amazing!!!! My best volunteer experience. Bled & the hostel are both incredible places to stay at. After the first week I already extended my stay knowing I would not want to leave. Miha looks after the volunteers very well doing his best for them. I felt very welcomed & at home here. The work is good, nothing intense. You need to pay attention to the small details & make sure that you clean well. Miha puts his trust in the volunteers & it is up to you to keep that. There are plenty of fun activities to do & amazing people to talk to. Very social & youthful hostel. Would do again

Miha was not only a great host and an outstanding mentor, he also became a good friend during my stay. It was always fun to work with him and to keep the hostel running as a team. I learned a lot about the hostel business and much more during my time there. The tasks were always distributed fairly within the team. He takes excellent care of his guests and the volunteers. Highly recommended ❤️

Working with Miha was an amazing experience! Miha is incredible helpful and generous. The hours are very reasonable and clearly explained, but the team is also very flexible and helpful if you need specific days off to see other areas of Slovenia. They provide incredible insight, tips and discounts to activities and food around Bled. I felt truly at home and will forever treasure my time in Bled as it was a fairytale! If I had a visa for Slovenia, I would have never left ❤️
