I really enjoyed my experience here. Before arriving, I was expecting simple gardening tasks but I was stoked to have more fulfilling jobs that make you feel like you're a part of the project. I was not expecting to face the challenges of kids yelling and Maia barking most of the day but Ata was a great resource in developing a positive and mindful attitude. The food was crazy good and I wish I stayed longer. Only improvement I see would be an easier way to communicate in the transition to and around job periods. Maybe an agreed-upon muster point? Thank you again for everything

It's been a great week at Doris and Ata's place! Their property is stunning and there is a lot to explore. I really liked the daily schedule with a good amount of breaks between the two hours of work in the morning and afternoon. The work was fun and not too challenging, I learned a lot. I had a great time to relax and with the other volunteers. Doris and Ata are very welcoming and open in communication. They really care about all your needs. And their food was really good! I definitely recommend especially if you're a nature lover!

Volunteering with Doris and Ata was an unforgettable experience. They provided delicious vegetarian food, a cozy stay, and invaluable knowledge about nature and travel. Their inspiring way of life, along with sleeping in a tent and outdoor showers, deepened my connection to nature. I'll miss the hammocks, yoga spots, the humour, tea evenings, the amazing volunteers I met and much more! Thank you for everything!

I really recommend the experience at the home with Doris and Ata. They are both very welcoming and you will learn a lot from them concerning mindfulness, using the resources around us, appreciating nature in all of its forms and much more. Other than that I would say that I learnt a lot about myself as well. All different parts of their off-grid property really are beautiful and fun to explore during your free time. The work was well instructed and I found it very enjoyable!

I really enjoyed my time at the home. I felt so welcomed into Doris and Ata's home and I quickly fell into a good routine which was very helpful. I felt like I learnt a lot as well. The work was engaging and fulfilling and the hours were super manageable. The scenery around the property was amazing and it was fun to explore on days off and breaks between shifts. I feel very grateful to be part of such a cool project and I wish them best of luck in all of their future endeavours :)

This opportunity could be amazing for the right person, unfortunately that person wasn't me and I ended up leaving the experience early. The hosts seemed to understand and were reassuring that it was okay.

This is a very unique experience for specific people. I ended up leaving after only a couple of days. I tried to make the best out of the situation I was in, but it ultimately did not work out. Both Ata and Doris were nice, but this experience was just not for me.

Unfortunately I got sick after two days there, so I wasnt really in a good shape in any way, I couldnt adapt and do my best. I planned to stay for more than two weeks, but ended up staying just one. The work was varied and simple. The facilities and the living conditions are quite simple, challenging in a good way. The nature here is amazing,(rainforest with a river) but the noise of the highway can diminish the experience of being in the nature. Doris and Ata always provided tasty and healthy meals. Altough I didnt have the greatest time here, I can say that I've learned a lot.

I had a really interesting time staying with Atta and Doris. It was not what I expected at first but they made me feel welcome and the other volunteers made the week a lot of fun. During my stay we focused on making cob and building a wall out of it. The food they cook everyday is absolutely delicious and always vegetarian/ vegan. Just be prepared for outdoor showers, no-flush toilets and depending on the weather no internet. But if you're able to adapt to their lifestyle you will have a great and fun experience

I felt very welcome as soon as I arrived. The tasks were manageable, the vegetarian food was great and the property is just amazing. However, the facilities are very open to nature so if you cannot cope with outdoor showers, no-flush-toilets and sleeping in a tent then I would recommend you think about your stay once again. However, I learned a lot, met the coolest people there and listened to many interesting stories. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you, Atta and Doris for this experience.
