Loved my stay! the hostel is great for immersing yourself in nature, and located only 8 min drive away from Kampot town. Pheak is the SWEETEST person ever! He always has a positive attitude, is friendly, takes you around town, and is a fantastic cook. The workload is quite simple, just helping around at reception and cleaning here and there- I felt very relaxed. Also did some tours in the tuktuk, super enjoyable! Cambodians were all welcoming and made me feel at home

We absolutely loved the atmosphere at the hostel Bunglow. We did some painting of the new dorm, cleaning up around the place and plenty of work behind the bar. It was a little unorganised and the hours stated on Worldpackers do not reflect what we did over the course of the week. This didn't bother us so much as we had already visited most things we wanted before getting to the hostel

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! The owner and staff are lovely and provided a safe comfortable space to stay! The day to day tasks were quiet easy and very flexible hours. I worked a fair amount but also had time to explore the city and surrounding area whenever I wanted. I was consistently fed 3 meals a day and the staff will help you out with anything you need. Super calm hostel but lots of fun and a great chance to connect with locals and travelers from all around! Thanks the hostel <3

This was a fun experience where I got to da number of different things like painting signs, running reception, turning over rooms, bartending, and more. The hostel is constantly improving so it's a fun project if you like to think of new ideas for improvements! the hostel and his family were great hosts who make amazing food and know how to have fun :)

Me and my husband Tom have stayed a week voluterring at the hostel (named after their beautiful puppy "the hostel"). The hostel is only small, located in a countryside outside of the centre so very relaxed. We are just working to help the owner with english writing using booking.com/hostelworld. Chatting to locals who come in to the resturant bar each evening. There is a party with live music each saturday which is great fun. If you want a relaxed atmosphere, sit on hammocks reading and doing the odd job, this is the place for you. You get 3 meals and the chief is fantastic.

Pheak or Mr the hostel as he likes me to call him is a very friendly person and his family as well. The place is very nice and it is improving bit a bit because they are still building the new bungalows. You can feel chill vibes and peace, practice yoga in the grass and enjoy talking with the guests. Sometimes you have to work a little bit more time but because it is not a hard work and you feel good just to do it and help them. I recommend this volunteering if you want to be calm and enjoy a few days of peace. Thanks Mr the hostel, it was a pleasure!!!!

This was my first time volunteering so initially there was poor organisation with the hours and no clear expectations of what needed to be done. But I learned quickly that it was a chill hostel with small tasks to do such as doing laundry, cleaning out rooms, serving drinks etc. Pheak (the owner) would just tell you if he needs help with other jobs like in the garden. Pheak and his family are so friendly and it makes it such a homey atmosphere especially with the dogs! They cook delicious food for you and even teach you how to cook if you want to learn some Khmer food. I've had a great time!

We had a lovely time at Pheak's! He's a friendly guy, running the hostel with his wife. The place is relaxed and quiet, a good intimate setting to connect with some travellers and locals alike. But some initiative is needed here, Pheak doesn't take the lead when it comes to managing volunteers. When we arrived there was no rota or clear hours and volunteers were expected to just be around. Then we made our own rota and Pheak agreed to it and it was fine. So if you don't mind slight chaos and setting clear boundaries with regards to work/free time this can be a lovely place to be.
