This was my first volunteering, I found a second home! Ubatuba is great, but the team is what make this place even better! Their vibe is unique, that reflects perfectly what brazil is about. They make work seems like fun. You'll learn a lot, meet new people everyday, practice your english, spanish, and of course portugues, but also how to work in team, discover new tasks… and party in the Brazilian way !! I strongly recommend and will come back for sure ! Special thanks to Tati, manager, who will make everything easier for you, but I could name the whole team, staff and volunteers. Thank you!

I had the opportunity of volunteering at the hostel for a month, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a supportive and passionate team who made me feel like a valued member of the community. The environment was both friendly and professional, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and learning.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel. Once you volunteer there, you become part of the family. I was treated very well and with a lot of respect. I learned a lot about social media, had a lot of fun and met some amazing people. If you want to work in a fun and relaxed place and meet people from all over the world, the hostel is the place for you.💚💚💚✨

Staying on Anchieta Island was a unique and unforgettable experience. the hostel was instrumental in making this dream a reality. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the team, led by Vinicius, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hostel offered various activities that allowed me to fully appreciate the stunning natural beauty of the island. Thank you very much to Vinicius and the entire the hostel team for an amazing stay!

I volunteered at the bar at the hostel and had the best time. The staff is like a little family and very welcoming, I really will miss them all. You also get to meet a lot of hosts and enjoy time with them as well. If you are looking for fun, party and nice people in the hostel you are the right place. Everyday there is something fun to do so it never gets boring. The best volunteer experience I had! Thank you for everything :)

Amazing experience! Ubatuba is just amazing, the hostel experience is fabulous. You meet people from all over the world, make some good friendships and work with a wonderful staff team. While not working, you were practically a guest. Foods and drinks amazings with good discounts Rooms are small but were never on full capacity, so it was never a problem for me. Tasks are simple: you develop a lot of your communication and learn about hostel adm. Only suggestion is a previous work schedule so we can plan the week, and review about the weekly workload (might be too much for a volunteer job).

Magic. Without a doubt, it is the best word to represent my experience on the hostel with the other packers and employees that I was able to share. The possibility of learning from the people who came to stay and also from everyone I met really made me learn more about myself and group work. I believe that the possibility of living these days working and learning every minute about how to be a better person and understand the work processes created to improve the quality of the hostel. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have shared this time with everyone

My experience at the hostel was amazing. For some health reasons, I need to end volunteering early. However the time I spent at the hostel was wonderful and I learned a lot. I especially thank Vinicius and Tati for the opportunity. I recommend it to everyone who wants to know the operation of a hostel in all its departments and also to those who want to know a little more about the paradise called Ubatuba. Thank you, folks!

After 3 weeks at the hostel this place became really a home for me. Even though i was the only foreigner in the team i felt directly part of the family. Despite that there were definitely some language barriers, due to my lack of portuguese skills and some collegues lack of english skills. Furthermore you have to consider that the working rules are 6 hours a day and 6 days a week. One day is off, but never on the weekends. Also there is nightshifts. the hostel is a very popular hostel because it is really social. Every night there are events. I am thankful for the time and the friends i made!

During my 6 weeks at the hostel I feel I have grown so much as a person, made really good friends, and had some really fun times. While I was at the hostel I was the only volunteer who was an English speaker which was hard at times but with the help of my friends i was able to have a full experience regardless of this. Don't let language stop you from coming here if you are considering applying, just be aware people will not primarily speak English. I really enjoyed my time at the hostel and did extend my trip while I was there. I made a lot of amazing memories and I'm truly sad to leave.
