Hello I have a great memory of my stay in your home. From the first day I felt like in my own house you are a great family very good people.It was the first time I traveled with worldpackers and it's not going to be the last, I felt very good all the time I was doing nice excursions with the kids, I taught them a little Spanish and we played soccer and spider. Sujan made the stay much easier, even taking me to see the religious monuments of the city of Kathmandu, what more could you ask for.

Really loved my stay in the Children House! One of the best experience in my life. I felt like a family member. Host Sujan was really welcoming and helpful if you need any guidance. Kids and super smart and kind. Really recommend every one to stay with this family <3

My time here was so heart filling! All the children are so beautiful and intelligent along with being very independent so the only thing they will need assistance in is homework. Everyone in the home welcomes you as another member of the family calling "sister, sister". Sujan the manager of the home is also verg helpful and kind to assist ypu in any way and is very insightful if yoy want to learn a little abput Nepals culture. I enjoyed myself and the family so much will definitely be back next time I am in the organization !

This was my first experience in worldpackers and I really enjoyed it! The kids are awesom. They are very sweet, funny and responsibles. I learnt a lot with them, they help me to understand their culture a bit more. Sujan is a great anfitrion, he is always paying atention to volunteers' wellness. He and his family are very kind, they make you feel like home. I hope to come back and share with them again! :)

The adv. in world packers is extremely misleading. You have to pay $70 per week for accommodation( with extremely yellow water and cockroaches) & food( which is 2 times daal chawal every day nothing else; thats what the kids get to eat) so its not free. It says free laundary, hiking tours but No. So its like a u pay money n stay; more of a donation than volunteer. Only thing i liked are the children but i never figured out what to do with them sitting in there drawing toom seeing each other's faces. I think all this should be mentioned before coz i left in 3 days as i needed clean water :(

We never had a problem with water. The day Niyati arrived it was raining so the water turned out bit yellow. About the food, Daal, and Rice are the local food Nepalese eat as a breakfast and dinner.

We provide a washing machine at the children's home for free to do the laundry but Niyati didn't ask for it. And about the hiking, we never asked for money and she wanted to do it by herself.

On Worldpackers we have all good reviews. None of our volunteers had any problem and we are always there to fix if there is any. Niyati is more of a traveler than a volunteer so she might have had high expectations.

If you are planning to volunteer with us but wondering if you should or not. Please take a time and read other volunteers review and get in contact with them.

The organization was an incredible experience for me. You're completely welcomed into the family immediately. Everyone calls you sister and makes you feel so appreciated. The amount of hugs you receive in a day could just fuel your heart for months. The kids are so willing to learn and connect and play. They are so loving and warm. Sometimes they'll resist homework, or they can be difficult. But as with any child, the more you love and attempt to connect with them, the more they will open up and allow you to help them get what they need. I would suggest to make sure you're not the only volunteer.

I think it was amazing. Was very surprised by the kindness they all offered. Both lovely kids, very happy, easy to talk with and very kind kids. They always called everyone brother or sister The family was also lovely. We had mothers dal baht every morning and evening, miss it. Sujan helped out with all the logistics problems, showed us nice places in freetime and just being friendly :) amazing place and nice family, who just wanna da difference in the world, and successes
